Mystique Highland Resort

My stay here was a highlight of my time in Nepal. This family run resort is a very peaceful place, the whole family are so friendly and welcoming. Felt very homely, the whole family were very caring, they made me teas when I was feeling sick and were happy and friendly people to chat to. The food was amazing. The view’s beautiful. It felt very safe. A lovely place to relax. And the village it is in was a very sweet place to walk around. I really enjoyed my stay here and am so grateful for the incredible hospitality and beautiful place to stay in.

One of the best stays I've had in Nepal. We were totally relaxed the moment we arrived and ended up extending our stay. The resort is located on a really nice family farm. All of the family and staff are very friendly and are happy to have a chat or leave you do your own thing. The meals are all made from the food on the farm. The breakfast is very filling along with the various types of potatoes/curries you can order for dinner. We went on two different day hikes and they had really good views of Annapurna region. Highly recommend staying here in you are in Astam. Thanks again to the family for the lovely stay.

A beautiful place to stay. We were so comfortable here that we decided to stay an extra 3 days. An incredible view of the Himalayas matched with delicious, freshly made food and very warm and welcoming hospitality from the family that run the resort. The resort sits on top of a very charming little village that’s lovely to walk around and explore. Will be staying here again on the next visit to Nepal for sure

From the moment we stepped foot inside the gate we felt welcome and relaxed at this family farm. The views from the balcony outside each room are either of pristine farmland, traditional cottages or the beautiful annapurna range when it decides to peak out on a late May day. We spent hours eating, chatting and reading on the balcony. Great rooftop upstairs for yoga or exercise. The food was real home cooking, we especially loved the breakfast of millet pancakes and fluffy porridge. For dinner the vegetable pakoras and variety of potatoes dishes picked straight from the garden that day were so tasty and fresh. Comfortable rooms and beds, with good sealing and bug screens on windows. Astam is a very pretty small village right on a hilltop with a few 1-2 hour long off road walks you can complete. Best to arrive by jeep or on foot. Thank you to the entire family for everything.

I had the most wonderful stay at Mystique. The hospitality, friendliness and smiles from the whole host family makes this place so special and unforgettable. The title "resort" may be a bit misleading if you expect luxury facilities. It has all you need for a basic stay including local food cooked and served with love. The most outstanding part of staying there is the view of the mountains, especially early morning. I had a wonderful day hike from Astam to Dhampus with a local guide from the village. Worth taking the bumpy jeep ride to get out into the countryside and get a feeling for local life in the villages.

Exceptionally good hotel with a magestic view. The owner is quite friendly and helpful. It's about 17 kilometres from Pokhara City. The resort has a nice garden. You can do camping and play music at full blast since other villages are quite far away. The food is quite good too since It has a homely touch. I loved the nepali cuisine over here 😋😋🤤🤤🤤 If You want privacy and serenity, do visit here after coming to Pokhara 😊💯💯

A beautiful place where you can see sunrise and sunset on Annapurna Mountains! Really amazing view from the terrace. We tried Nepalese typical food and it tasted so good. Anup, the sweet and welcoming owner, showed us how the people around the village live everyday and it was very beautiful to witness. Great memories ढन्यबाद्

We came in group. And enjoyed the ambience of the place . The campfire was good. The music could be made loud as we desired, that mean it was in such place where it could be done

We were lucky to find Mystique.
We were in a charming village, surrounded by clear faces of well-known mountains.
Most of all, Mystique offered us a peaceful environment, fresh meals from their garden vegetables and warm hospitality.
Wonderful place for yoga, meditation, reading, walking and....etc.
We wanted for nothing more. It was just perfect!

It was one of the best places i have visited in Nepal. Family taking care of the business are lovely, caring and the resort is very very clean and beautiful. Servive is outstanding. I highly recommend to go and visit. Views are amazing, sunset incredible and very authentic.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The view is priceless. Rooms are clean. Large Toilet space. The location is amazing, day and night. We had chicken barbecue and bonfire at night. In the morning we walked around the place. The hotel is very very accommodating.

Incredible setting on top of the hill with a 360° panorama of the hills, valleys and mountain range. Manager here is amazing: friendly, helpful and made delicious food!! Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again in future!
