Heaven on earth! After a 10 hours drive from Kathmandu we landed in this paradise and never wanted to leave. A sensual, sophisticated (but simple), sustainable and serene syntesis of the art(s) of living.

The Pavilion Himalayas is a great place for a wonderful staycation, a quiet weekend getaway and a treat for nature lovers!

Nestled between the lovely green hills, the Pavilion Himalayas offer you the comfort of home far away from home. The villas are amazing with their high ceilings and a gorgeous patio that opens to a lovely view. The villas are equipped with a walk in bathroom that has a private jacuzzi / tub. The tea and coffee options are the best with organic coffee and a French press to enjoy the morning brew! The kitchen counter has a sink and glasses that you can use to serve drinks privately in the comfort of your villa!

The infinity pool looks over the hills and if you ate lucky you can view the Annapurna range as well. The restaurant has a limited option but has everything for everyone! And they taste Yumm! You can also choose your favorite drink from an elaborate menu from their bar. They also have a spa where you can enjoy a relaxing Himalayan massage.

They have their own farm where they grow their own veggies organically and make their own goat cheese. Milk is in its purest form whether it is from a cow, buffalo or goat! It’s a treat to visit the farm and walk the short trails along the area!

And if you are a dog lover, you will love Dixie 😍You will see her in the photos that I have posted. She is my favourite in The Pavilion Himalayas! In summary, once is not enough! You will keep coming back to this beauty of nature!

This place grows on you! A most beautiful property no doubt about it with surroundings that make you slow down and take notice. Excellent services, food and staff ❤ our dinner experience was nothing short of exquisite. We stayed at the cottage Dharma and Douglas and his dogs passed by - at that time I wish I know it was Douglas to personally say Namaste and thank you for such a great experience.

We were booked for 4 nights at the farm, but added an extra night to make the most of this unique property and it’s outstanding team. Their philosophy, hospitality, quality of food, standard of accommodation and access to stunning local scenery combined to make a very special experience of rural Nepal life. We couldn’t recommend this property more and would love to return.

Loved the place, the vibes, the atmosphere, the food & the staff in particular Prativa & Anuja, who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.
Thank you and hope to come again.

Went for three nights, stayed for six!

Lovely people, luxurious experience, great food (grown there), super masseuse, and profits go to local charitable causes.

Short drive ($6 taxi) from the centre of town, so bit of a retreat, but worth it for the tranquility.

Organised several activities with them (mountain biking, paragliding, rafting, yoga, etc) and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Also did own things from there easily (local runs, easy walk to peace pagoda).

Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our time at the Pavilions. We spent 5 nights here and really couldn't have asked for more. The whole team is welcoming and you get a family vibe bec everyone is incredibly welcoming. It's also incredibly child and fur baby friendly too!

The rooms are stunning with views of the mountains and rice fields. The food is delicious (you can tell it's sourced locally and organic) and the location, while not lakeside (about 25 minutes away with a bit of a bumpy road) is beyond beautiful in a place of tranquility and pure bliss.

The best thing is the majority of the hotel's staff are from the local village and a portion of what you pay goes to two child protection NGOs. They use natural materials everywhere including the pool. I watched the way the owner and GM dealt with the team and it made me so happy I chose the Pavilions not only bec of my experience but also because of the way they treat their team and respect the local community.

To be honest, it was hard to leave but we will definitely be back. Thank you team Pavilions for the fantastic getaway, can't wait to see you all again soon.

We had a really lovely stay at this unique property. It was the perfect location to relax after a long trek. It may not be suitable for people that are looking to go into pokhara everyday due to the distance and additional cost. However, it was the apt location and setting for us.
A special shout out to all the staff; from the managers down to the security guards, that looked after us so well.

This place has magic! When the brand manager told me from my payment 70% will go to a great charity and social cause of the founders, I felt so happy and emotional, that my staying became blissful! I absolutely loved the fresh milk delivered at doorstep in the morning and taking a long walk for freshest air around the location in the morning! The stuffs were kind and friendly and supportive! The pool was little dirty, but that's because of the natural water. Breakfast, dinner was produced with almost all the ingredients grown into this place. Freshness all around! Room and toilet amenities were beyond satisfactory. Except the road, I loved every single thing! It's my perfect escape from the busy life!

At first, I wanted to give it 4 of 5 stars, but after the first night and hearing the story, you want to give it so much more than just 5 stars. After arriving, we got to the bigger hut with the huge window-front. The view over the valley landscape is marvelous. I was only afraid about the temperature of the room (February - that’s why the 4), but in the evening after telling the staff they lit a fire in the open fireplace next to the sofa. Very nice.
The main facility and the small infinity pool area are very well-designed. The interior is marvelous, the yoga room with the view and the surroundings (go for a walk up the valley) so enjoyable. We then got explained that the resort is super sustainable: Energy collected through solar, rain water filtered for the huts and reused in different steps, the farm around is providing natural gas and most of the ingredients for the outstanding food. The breakfast, oh my, that was soooo good.
We then met Douglas, the owner, and he told us that most of the people working there had a challenging past and that most of the money from the resort (if not in corona times) goes to his charity supporting children in Nepal and the local surroundings.
I really like the idea of combining luxury with sustainability and doing good - this place, Douglas, his team (Deependra, Mishma, Biswas, Rajiv and all the others) and the charities are a real inspiration.
Thank you very much, we'll come again!

This resort is in the middle of a beautiful village— away from all the chaos. Food at the restaurant is delicious and veggies are freshly picked from the farm. I would definitely visit here again

Brilliant tranquil getaway in Pakhora. Amazing staff, and the Villa's are excellent. Food is on point too. Whilst the roads up are rough, and it's a distance from the central parts with restaurants bars etc, know and appreciate what you are booking. This place is excellent because of its remote location and peaceful vibe. Highly recommended.

Top hidden gem in the heart of Pokhara. Definitely a tough ride to reach there because of bad road conditions but this is super normal in Nepal ! Once you reach there it's a great place to relax and meditate. I suggest staying there for 2 days without leaving the place so you don't have to struggle with bad roads a lot.

By far one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. Truly a unique eco friendly place and should be a model for all around the world 🌎 such a special place the food was amazing and so delicious the service was over the top! Next time we come to Nepal we will come stay there for much longer. Yes the road is a bit bumpy but like the saying goes difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations

Amazing place to relax in luxury just 20 min from busy Pokhara lake side and to enjoy amazing nature and local Nepali life. We stayed with 3 kids (2,9,11) and had a great time in the spacious room by the fireplace or watching the sunrise view by the huge windows. The saltwater swimming pool is lovely and refreshing, -possibly to the cold side for non-Scandinavians in November. Would have been a perfect addition for the kids if the jacuzzi was not out of order. Staff is kind and thoughtful. Service was perfect. Breakfast is a la carte and probably the best I ever had in a hotel in Nepal. Kids loved to visit the on site small farm.

Despite being hit hard with covid, I think this is one of the best hotels around. Be careful with the road being under construction, can't fault the hotel for it but it did make our stay a little less convenient. Besides that, rooms are amazing, food was great.

What an experience to stay in this resort which is really treating the environment nicely ! Location is not far from the airport and in a small valley. Access is a mix of regular road and last kms on a dirt road. Really feel like an adventure. Place is so peaceful and connected to the nature. The farm is fun to watch with cows and goats. In the morning, they place a bottle of fresh milk at your doorstep. Sooo tasty ! Staff is really friendly especially at the lounge (which plays some nice trendy music). Infinity pool is relaxing..
