Very good PLACE to stay where you can find multiple hotels. We stayed at Tibet Guest House. They actually have shakshuka here! :) Hot shower and very thick, warm blankets.

Lama Hotel is a popular first stop on the Langtang Valley, it is an area with multiple guest houses there. We stayed twice at Hotel Sherpa. We were so happy with the service and standard of rooms provided. Hot showers, nice food and honest family that run the business. Have attached photos of this hotel’s business card to avoid confusion. They also offer guide and porter services.

My wife and I stayed at Lama Hotel on our way to Kyanjin Gompa. The place is still located in the jungle and is really beautiful. The hotels are pretty basic compared to Langtang Village and Kyanjin Gompa. Great place to spend the night 🌙

My wife fell ill with altitude sickness here. We couldn't have had more helpful, kind hosts. They looked after us and provided a clean room. The privy was arranged with natural running water.

Just to clarify Lama Hotel is one of the rest stops along the Langtang trekking trail. Its not just a single hotel but this stop point in Changdam with multiple hotels under different names.

Room is clean. Ofcourse facilities are not delux. But much better than tent. We can take hot meals. Prices are reasonable.
