Hiking to Rupakot Dadha was refreshing. It is a go-to place if you have come to visit Diktel. Its is also starting point of Mundhum Trail that connects Khotang, Bhojpur and Solukhumbu. In 15minutes, you will reach to Mudhe from Diktel. Grab some snacks and water and start your hike to Rupakot Dadha. There is gravel road for 15minutes after that the only way is up. Pavements have been layed down and you just need to follow them to reach your destintion. Weather changed from sunny during our start to misty with gain of altitude. There was windy on the top and few drops of rain made us spread our umbrella. Carry some salt and check frequently for leaches after you cross the forest.

Rupakot Danda and Rupakot Area, which is an attractive tourist place of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, is located at an altitude of about 2800 meters above sea level. The historical Jogi Kuti also known as Siddha Baba's Cave is also located in this area. Hindu, Buddhist and Kirat devotees go here to perform prayers, so it is known as tri-religious place. From these area (peaks, view tower), you can see most of the places in the district as well as the beautiful valleys of Terai and the highest peak of the world, Mount Everest.There are many beautiful and amusing fields (grassy open lands) in this area, so it can be used as a picnic spot. In the lower part of this area, there is a Bhulko Jalpa Devi temple. Where springs of water flow continuously all season. (दिक्तेल रुपाकोट मझुवागढी नगरपालिकाको आकर्षक पर्यटकीय क्षेत्रको रुपमा रहेको रुपाकोट डांडा तथा रुपाकोट क्षेत्र समुन्द्र सतहबाट झन्डै २८०० मिटरको उचाईमा अवस्थित छ ।ऐतिहासिक जोगि कुटी अर्थात सिद्धबाबाको गुफा समेत यस क्षेत्रमा रहेको छ ।यहाँ हिन्दु,बौद्ध र किंरात धर्मलम्बीहरु गएर पुजा पाठ गर्ने गरेको हुनाले यसलाई त्रिधार्मिक स्थलको रुपमा समेत चिनिन्छ ।यहांबाट जिल्लाका धेरै जसो ठाउँहरुको अवलोकन गर्नुका साथै तराईका रमाईला फाँटहरु र विश्वको अग्लो शिखर सगरमाथा समेत देख्न सकिन्छ ।यस क्षेत्रमा सदाबहार पानिका मुहानहरु भएको हुनाले लालीगुँरास, चिराईतो लगायत विभिन्न किसिमका जडीबुटीहरु समेत पाईन्छ ।यस क्षेत्रमा रमाईला फराकिला फांटहरु रहेका छन जस्ले गर्दा पिकनिक स्पटको रुपमा समेत यसलाई प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ ।यस क्षेत्रको तल्लो भागमा भुल्को जालपा देवी मन्दिर रहेको छ । जहाँ बाह्रै महिना पानीका मुहानहरु अटुट रुपमा बगिरहन्छन् । प्रत्येक वर्ष जनै पूर्णिमा, बाला चतुरदर्शी, रामनवमी जस्ता पर्वहरुमा मेला लाग्ने गर्दछ । हिउँद महिनामा विभिन्न ठाउँबाट पर्यटकहरु यस क्षेत्रमा घुम्न आउने गर्दछन ।)
