Kakani View Point

It was an amazing experience for me to visit this place. I went there's early in the morning 🌄 and I got peaceful vibes. There's, too many historic places nearby here. The picnic spot is also available.Buddhist stupa,mountain view tower also available. You have to visit once in a lifetime.

Best and beauty of nature. One day hike to Kakani hight is very beautiful place to enjoy with nature. Greenery hills and great Himalaya view is a landmark of Kakani. January to march is time for enjoying hikes with delicious strawberry and Kakani is also famous for traut fish and typical local food. If you Summer days then march till mid June but you might get some rainy days as well . The vest time of hiking to Kakani is September till mid week of November. This time you find many beautiful blooming flowers and fields and farm are cropping vegetables and grains the weather also just so perfect. So suggest to you autumn is precious time to hike Kakani.

A beautiful place to come for the views or to have a picnic. We were there on New Year's (April 14), and there were MANY people enjoying the space together

The place was quite nice
There were people doing picnics and all that
The sunset was quite nice
But it is not recommended to go in the winter season
Lots of dust and pollution so can't see the amazing view

Great Place to visit, weather here is super nice with good air.
Away from pollution and city area.
Nice for hiking also.
You get great food here plus fresh and organic.
Trout fish and strawberry is quite famous here(seasonal).
Be sure to try it whenever you visit here.
Altogether its a great place to visit around kathmandu. 1-2 hours on bikes & cars (road might be bumpy in some places)
2-3 hours on local bus(might have to hike half an hour from the stop)

Stunning view. Pretty decent cycle route but recommend you to go with masks, dust cover and during winter. The roads are still under construction.
