Tikabhairab Temple

If you seek peace in life then do visit here. Get lost in the beauty of temple, the architecture and local people. Just at the boarder of Lele, highly recommended to visit here even if you go through this highway.

Tika Bhairab Temple is a historic temple in Lele which is located about 16 - 18 KMs away from the Ring Road, whichever route you choose. The locals told me that mostly the Newars from KTM valley come to this site to worship Lord Bhairab.
This temple is situated in the bank of Nakkhu river. From the temple premises, you can view the beauty of mountains, river, and above all this is a cycling destination near the KTM city.
Due to the land slides and road construction works, the road condition is not so good. I reached here @ 7:30 AM on 27/11/2020 morning on my mountain bike.
For cyclists, I rate this track's Difficulty as : Moderate. I took the route from Ekantakuna, Karya Binayak, Chhampi, Tika Bhairab, Chapagaun, Dholahiti, Ekantakuna to construct a circuit. Which every way you take from Ring road, while going towards the temple most of your road is uphill.

I came from bhaisepati road to tikabhairab, road is in construction phase so it is very muddy and full of gravel. The temple itself is cool and lies on the bank of the Nallu river. I returned via chapagaun road and that road is well maintained, so if you wanna visit tikabhairab, take satdobato-chapagaun-tikabhairab road.

This place was so peaceful and and very relaxing when i visited there. Many people visit tikavairab Mandir everyday and especially Saturday.

Located in the bank of Nakhhu river at Tikabhairab, it is quite important among the Newar community of the valley.

Tima Bhairav Temple is Historical and beautiful place in between Green hills sorrounding to the South from Timber Craft office satdobato about 15 kilometres .small two river meets and run by the Temple .

Bhairab is a kuladevata of Sijapati. In chaitra purnima every year gathering of people for worship happens here (i.e Mela). Please visit at that time. This place is only about 10km from the ring road.

It is a temple of Hindu God Bhairab, the furious one. But he is as calm as cool cucumber too. It lies in the southern side of Lalitpur.
