Amazingly built rope way. Very nice and clean. newly built and maintained well. Good view from the top of the hill. Must visit place if you go to chandragiri hill. There is a beautiful temple on top and also kids playground as well.

Try reaching by 10 am because lunch break time' is 12 noon to 1 PM. The queue gets longer because of lunch break and your precious time gets wasted.

It is located at the altitude of 2551 meters above sea level. The temple was built by Chandragiri Hills on the historic and religious site.The temple was designed by the architect Shankar Nath Rimal. The temple is connected to the Kathmandu valley by a cable car.

Must visit plan when in kathmandu. To and fro cab from thamel costs approx 2500npr. Cable car tickets for saarc are 1280 both ways. Lots of activities at the top like zip line, swing, horse riding, kids play area etc. There is also a added attraction at top called viewing tower with binoculars through which on a clear day one can see far away mountain ranges like Annapurna, everest and others. There is a seperate 50npr ticket for same. Lots of food options to eat at top, and the jerry(local for jelebi) is a must.

This was the most amazing experience I have ever seen. We were worried due to clouds we were not going to see anything. Getting up the trolleys lead to the most amazing views and then going up to the crowd nest was even better. They charged way more for my ticket as I was a tourist, but honestly it was worth every penny.

A must visit for everyone going to Nepal. Awesome weather and great scenario at the top of mountain after a 14-15 minutes ride of cable car, which in itself is a thrilling experience. You will find the highest zip line ride for adults and smaller for kids too, a peaceful temple, restaurants, bar and gifts shop at the top. The rates are affordable. The view of clouds (as we visited during monsoon season) and mountains is mesmerizing. You can capture breathtaking photographs and also can have a look of Mount Everest through binoculars. You can not afford to miss this place if you have visited to see the nature in Nepal.

Extraordinary views from the top of Chandragiri Hill. There's a park, a restaurant, a temple, a Zipline and many more. Really loved the cable car ride. Also, the temperature is very low on the top.

One of the best place at the height of 8268 feet with good facilities. First of all you enjoy cable car to reach there. While in cable car you can really enjoy the full view of mountains, Himalayas, and city view also.
Once you are on top it's very cold here because of height, so carry warm clothes with you for sure.From here you can see full Himalayas range and full city as well.
