Chitlang homestay village

Chotlang homestay peripheri. It’s best place to stay one night. It’s 2 hrs drive from Kathmandu from Thankot road.

My second visit was even better. This time the whole family members were there so had even more homely atmosphere. The owner is very kind.
Don't miss the barbeque (highly recommended) and local wine as well.
The food was delicious and hygiene as before. Clean rooms, but do not expect heater during winter, just some extra blanket. Has common sharing bathroom but has hot water facility (really essential during winter)
P.S, They are building a new property and it looks good as well. Nepali style !!

Past visit experience:-

Chitlang is nowadays famous among local tourist and I was also really looking forward to explore this. Opportunity came to explore the same with a group of colleagues and we chosen this resort to spend a night and enjoy. This resort is about 22 Km away from Kathmandu but since road is not very good, it took over 2 hours to reach by a mini bus.............

Visited with my 27 staffs.... well managed and full hospitality.... good owners ..... delicious food.... lovely place to be...... fully homely environment.... loved to come again and again....

A female friend and I happened upon this place after a long hike in from Thankot. We could not have been luckier! The family welcomed us in as if we were their own daughters. Around their kitchen hearth we learned so much about their incredibly interesting lives, as well as the history of Chitlang. We ate all of our meals there, including khaja and chiya, and loved every bit of it. Stand outs included buckwheat pancakes in the morning with a boiled egg, and tomato achhar and chicken in our daalbhat. We cannot wait to come back! Hopefully we have free time again mid week so we can have them all to ourselves again. 10/10 would recommend!

I stayed here with my students for two days. Hospitality is very good. Food is good. But something has to be done about the toilet.

Best place for visiting. When you get time reach there 3-4hours far from ktm valley, it can be your celebrating plaxe
