Treehouse Pizza Gamboa

Authentic local hospitality just minutes from the Gambia Resort. The pizza surprised us with a deli rips crust and gory interior cooked perfectly. We recommend this spot if you want to experience a little local flavour and get a chance to chat and learn more about this beautiful area.

As other reviews have mentioned, it’s a perfect place to get away from the Gamboa resort, a pleasant 15 minute walk during which we observed animals, met with a modest and welcoming venue where the hosts and other guests were pleasant and social, kids were welcome to play, beer was cold and pizza was truly delicious.

Fantastic pizza, ambiance, and company. Ash was awesome and we LOVED the pizza and cold beer.

Treehouse Pizza is a delightful hidden gem in Gamboa. The food was fresh, the beers were cold, the staff welcoming, and the animals friendly! Yes, animals! Friendly cats, a 50 year old parrot named ET, and some wild agouti made appearances in the lovely backyard dining area, adding to the experience. If you are staying at the Gamboa Resort and want a change a scenery, Treehouse Pizza is for you.

Treehouse Pizza was one of our favorite meals during our time in Panama. A wonderful hidden gem, the restaurant serves fresh homemade pizzas with topics including pesto, smoked ham and bacon, and vegetables. Service was great and ambiance was lovely. We were also told that it's possible to order fresh pastries from the restaurant through the front desk at Gamboa Resort. Recommend making a reservation to ensure that there is sufficient space and pizza ovens.

Was staying at the local resort and was getting sick of buffet food every day. ( if you stay at the resort you can set up transport with the resort) Found this absolute gem hidden in the rainforest. Ive been in the pizza industry for 12 years in the states, They knew what they were doing, dough made by hand, sauce made with locally sourced ingredients. Very friendly staff and gave me a tour of the kitchen when I mentioned I was in the industry. Outdoor seating at night was insect free with a nice fire going. Not the best pizza I have ever had, but nonetheless better than 90% of what I have had. Keep up the great work and I wish you the best.

This place has amazing pizza! My daughter said it was the best pizza she have ever eaten, which I think I agree with. Really it's the dough that's so good. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. She even drove us home when no uber was avaible. She speaks both English and Spanish.

Absolutely lovely backyard pizza restaurant. Beautiful rainforest setting, delicious pizza, run by a friendly and kind couple.

Amazing pizza and atmosphere! If you’re coming here, this place is a must visit!

The owner was amazing and accommodating of our big group! Fun family atmosphere with her cats, pet macaw, and friendly agoutis. Felt like a home away from home.

We arrived there a bit randomly, looking for a boat trip. They kindly assistes us to find what we were looking for and mentioned that if we want afterwards, they are cooking pizza.

Indeed, after the boat trip we were hungry but a bit suspicious at the same time because food wise we didn’t have much chance in Panama so far. It’s not like pizza were panamean’s national food, we are quite picky when it comes to pizza. Anyway, as they were very helpful, we decided to go there and give it a try.

Well, we were greatly surprised! Good pizza with quality products 😀 not fat, not uncooked, not too tick or thin, not too hard… just right 👌
It is not the best pizza we ever had, but looking at where we were, it was clearly the best choice we made.

We will go back if the opportunity shows up.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had. Ever.

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs als anfing wie aus Eimern zu regnen.
Wir kamen dort, nass bis auf die Unterwäsche, dort an.
Uns wurde sofort ein Tisch angeboten sowie Papierhandtücher um uns etwas trocknen zu können.
Der Service war super und die Mitarbeiter freundlich.
Uns wurden alle Fragen beantwortet.
Die Pizzen waren ebenfalls sehr gut!

Lugar distinto para comer o cenar fuera del hotel de Gamboa. Pizzas caseras donde eliges los ingredientes según lo que tengan. También suelen tener postres aunque cuando fuimos no quedaban, se acaban pronto!!! Muy simpáticos, el cocinero y la camarera.

Bonito espacio para comer en familia y con amigos.
Tienen opciones veggies.
Gamboa es un tesoro y perfecto lugar para desconectarse 🌞
