Trio marinos + alpaca steak with pasta were great.

FYI we ordered the steak medium rare (how we like our beef steaks), but it came rare (we happily ate it rare). Alpaca is gamier than beef which might be why it's cooked through more.

Was in town to visit Machu Picchu and was looking for a good restaurant, came into Chullos based on the reviews and was definitely not disappointed. The amount of 5 star reviews was questionable but I can confirm, food, service and atmosphere are 5 star. Food was so good decided to come back again the next day for dinner. If you can, make a reservation so you can get a river view.

The vege pizza was amazing. We packed another one for on way.
The chickpea burger was first of its kind I had. Definitely yummy.
All drinks were great - Pisco sour, juice and hibiscus lemonade.

Service was a bit slow but nice and friendly.

Lovely dinner at the edge of the river in Aguascalientes. Saul was a fantastic server and everything we ate was delicious. Especially recommend the Alpaca loin with pasta. Just ask him to cook it medium since the alpaca can dry out if you don’t. I did and it was cooked to perfection!

This was a great choice for lunch!! I was wondering if it would be a tourist trap — it was NOT! It was a really great meal.

The service was fast and gracious. Our servers all spoke excellent English. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed — but upscale enough that it felt like I had come to a place to eat well.

I had the lomo saltimboco de alpaca. It was so very good — the gnocchi with it also was great. The whole dish was super tasty! My friends enjoyed their hamburgers as well.

A perfect little place overlooking the river, delicious food, big portions and good prompt and friendly service. Given how touristy the town is, we weren’t having huge expectation on food and service but were proven wrong, definitely recommend this place.

The food was amazing. It is hard to pick a favorite dish, but the Trio marino and the Tartar de atun con quinua were very flavorful, well balanced and with great complementary textures. The pisco sour maracuya and fresa were so good we forgot to take pictures. The service was the highlight; our waiter, Osvaldo, gave us the best recommendations and took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our waiter Saul was so sweet and was so accommodating to us! We went in for dinner one night and the food was delicious! I ordered the garbanzo burger and my mom got the veggie pizza and both were yum! We even decided to bring a friend the next day for lunch!

Great food and service! Our server Osvaldo was attentive and friendly. We loved everything we got - yucca balls, churascon, and aji de gallina. Easily the best meal we had in aguas claientes, if not the best we had in Peru!

What a lovely restaurant in Aguas Calientes! We dined here two times during our stay and found both experiences to be excellent! The food was great and the servers were so welcoming. Zoe and Yudith were wonderful, both prodiving us with a level of care and kindness we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I had a great experience here. Food, service and view were as expected of a wonder of the world. Zoe helped us out to get the best drinks and plates. Overall highly recommended.

My fiancé and I walked here around 1pm and made a reservation for 730pm, we arrived early, around 640. They asked if we made a reservation, and I explained I spoke with a younger gentleman around 1pm and told him it was my birthday and that we would be back. I'm not sure if he actually took the reservation because later in the meal, I overheard a waitress apologizing to another couple for the mix-up. I felt very bad but grateful they were able to make it work.

Despite all that, the meal was the best birthday dish I've had. I choose the alpaca loin with gnocchi. 10/10. I got it medium well. It was so tender and juicy. ABSOLUTELY perfect 👌
My fiance got the bacon cheeseburger. We are American, so he enjoy crispy bacon, this bacon was soft and small. Some countries have a certain flavored beef. This country is definitely one of them.

Best spot to go for lunch. Get a table by the window for the full experience.

We enjoyed traditional Peruvian dishes and a delicious maracuyá served in a fun cup.

Wonderful experience! We were sat right away, the restaurant is clean and efficient. Some seating even overlooks the river which is beautiful, the entrance is right off the train tracks which is also fun to watch the trains go by. Our server was Edu, he was polite and spoke decent English while being patient with my terrible Spanish. He made sure to check for food allergies as well. We ordered a house made soda/tea (peach and mint, DELICIOUS), the Lomos Saltado de alpaca and the “sexy guinea pig” pizza. Everything was super good, and a great price too! Highly recommend.

I've spent 3 days in Aguascalientes/Machupicchu and I've eaten twice at Chullos with my family. The service is amazing, the views from the second floor are spectacular, and the food is worth multiple visits. Memorable plates: causa acevichada, crema de poro, cuy estilo kfc, lomo saltado de alpaca, chaufita mar y tierra. The draft beer and cocktails were good. Our server David was attentive to us and our kids.

Aguas Calientes does not have the best food scene. This place stands out and had amazing quality and quantity. We tried the alpaca and the coy and it did not disappoint. The prices are reasonable and everything tasted very fresh. We did not get a view of the river, but the tables by the windows had a great view.

We had dinner two times here, and both times were great. Kid had spaghetti pomodoro (at our request , wasn't in the menu) and liked it so much that he wanted to go "to the place we went yesterday" a second time. I had the BLT Burger first time around and Lomo Saltado the second time, both of which were great! My wife liked the Ceviche and the Aji de Gallina. She also tried the Alpaca/Cuy combo, but the meat just wasn't her (or my) cup of tea, doesn't mean that it wasn't prepared perfectly. Great selection of beers also, but if you don't like IPA and craft beers like me, go for the "Lager". Our waiter Oswaldo fulfilled all our wishes speedily, accurately and with a smile, many thanks!
So if you're in Aguas Calientes, this is definitely a place to try.

We had dinner here after our tour to Macchu Picchu. The food was super delicious, perfectly cooked meat and the vegetarian Lomo Saltado was amazing. Our waiter Oscar was very nice and attentive! Also the various lemonades were great!

I had a beautiful view of the river as I ate and my server Edu was very friendly. Quite possibly the best potato chips I've ever had and the presentation of the cocktail was adorable, in addition to being just a solid, creative drink.
