If you're looking for a very affordable hotel within downtown Tacloban, I would recommend this hotel. Staffs are very accommodating and rooms are spacious with basic amenities including toiletries. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

If you need a place to stay for a night or two in downtown Tacloban, Hotel La Rica would be a good option. It is situated at the center of downtown and is walking distance to all establishments. It's not a 5-star hotel so you can't expect the best facilities, but you will be getting more than the price you pay. What's best is that the hotel allowed us to check in 7 hours before the check-in time unlike the other hotels we went to, which was important for us because we will be in Tacloban for only a day.

A nice and affordable hotel located at the heart of the city. It's just a walk away from Gaisano mall and Savemore and to fastfood chains and restaurants!
