Been here for almost 8 years, everytime i am assign for work in tacloban leyte, i always stay in this lodge, friendly staff, kind and very accomodating.

Matthews Lodging House is a Cheap Traveler's Inn. An Economy Room is only 300 pesos, just right for low budget travelers. However, the facilities are not complete. There is only one socket available, enough for the electricfan to operate. You have to turn off first the fan for you to be able to charge your phone or anything. The shower is inoperative but the CR is just enough for you to do your business. The window is quite dirty as well as the curtains. The bed is comfortable but the pillow is not good.
The people there are nice, specially the receptionist lady. Very accommodating and friendly.

ok n mn for someone looking for a budget place to stay , mabait mga staff..

the only downside is 1) ung hagdan n mataas, 2) marupok n ang sahig, nahulog pa paa ko 😂 3) manipis n dingding, rinig mo ang ginagawa s kabilang room😅
