TACLOBAN FISH SECTION

I shop in the Tacloban wet markets every morning. It's a 10 minute walk from my apartment. Good selection of fresh fish. Today my mission was crab and I got lucky nice big ones.

This is only the market to buy fresh fish in Tacloban. But you should be at 4AM.

Tacloban City is really improving fast and one thing that shows that it is improving is the recent construction of buildings, expansion of the market and repair of the seawall dikes. Traffic has also improved since they have cleared the sidewalks with vendors. Although we still see some problems and lapses in the public market but the government is trying it's best to make the place clean and organized.

This is actually not a supermarket but a fruit, veg and fish outdoor market near the fish port.
Saying that, it is well known for fresh produce at low prices. It's easy to find as its next to McDo.

Fresh seafoods. Squid, scallops, shrimps, prawns talaba, tahong and many more. Just be there early while supply lasts.

The city government did a great job upgrading this supermarket. There is surprisingly big improvement in the facilities.

Lots of stall and good fish assortment. BBQ vendors out later in the evening 😋

They have the freshest seafoods during early morning and late afternoon. Just haggle with the vendors for a discounted price

Area is pretty clean organized. Only early in the morning this place is crowded
