Sta. Teresa de Avila Church

This historic church holds a special place in my heart. I find solace here each Sunday as I connect with my faith. The beautiful sculptures and paintings within its walls inspire me and enrich my spiritual experience.

Very nice, old but historical church. Very spacious and with wide parking area for church goers with wheels.

Been a sacristan here long ago, the church is as beautiful as ever, great sight and been glad to visit during the Holyweek.

Mostly made from coral stones and spanish colonial designed catholic church.

This catholic church is designed in the Spanish colonial style. Old but very historical church. Wide parking area.

During this Covid19 pandemic , proper guidelines were observed , from the entrances ( temperature checking and sanitizing) to chairs (social distanced) to people ( wearing of facemask).

Best aisle for wedding. It was great to be there.

Only church I've ever visited that has a fan stand for anyone who feels the need to fan oneself you can just get one for yourself and use it. Of course you have to return it after the mass.

One of the oldest church in Cebu located in Pob. Talisay City Cebu .It has a big grounds for parking lot.

Perfect place to worship God and amazing structure feels like you've turn back in time.

My house is walking distance from the church so I know a lot about this place. The place is well lit and clean. Sound system has improved over the years. One of the longest aisle in Cebu and a beautiful and solemn place for a wedding. Church ground is very wide, and can accomodate car parkings. Ground is open for joggers, zumba dancers and students who want to study, or practice school activities.

Nice church to go to in Talisay, peaceful and have many slots for parking.

This is the oldest church in the Philippines dedicated to the 1st woman doctor of the church Sta. Teresa de Avila. This church was founded way back 1836, the first parish priest was Fr. Juan Soriano from Avila Spain, the reason why the patron is of this parish is Sta. Teresa de Avila. They celebrated their feast day every 15th of October..

This church reminisced my high school days. I used to pray in this church before. Everything were improved and even the surroundings is quite different now.

I suggest to have 12:15 mass also during saturdays.

A very good place to talk to the Lord.

Feels well maintained. Doesn't feel too hot (there are fans around).

The people in their office are very accommodating. The church with its pristine beauty, takes you back in time.

The mass start on time and have spacious organized church and the bathroom is clean...

Despite of the improvements ang modernization happening outside, this church has maintained its sanctity over the years.
