Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay

I love this place cause of the workers. Really clean place, located next to the seaside. The only drawback is that the sockets in the room are terrible.Huge plus goes the staff, especially bar workers and breakfast team, also huge respect to cleaning team. It has been amazing stay so far.

Nice place to stay, polite staff, nice bfast, only lacking in lending of umbrella to guest since its rainy season specially from past weeks typhoon carina. But overall its a good stay with Golden Phoenix

Everything was clean, linens and towels white and smell good. Busy place from dusk to evening, but becomes quiet later in the night. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything we needed like laundry, convenient stores, restaurants, massage, etc. Staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet very nice (if you want hot food go 6am). Pool was clean and hot shower was working well. Will highly recommend to friends for value of money too.

Beachfront hotel at Station 3! If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, this hotel is for you! They have spacious rooms, nice pool, buffet breakfast, they have their own bar & the staff are all friendly! ⭐

The Resort is indeed a front beach resort with buffet breakfast 😊 The food is nice and the staff (mostly the interns/OJT's) are accommodating and kind.

The place is also quiet and not crowded. If you want to go to the bars/clubs at Station 2, you will need to walk 10 - 15 min.

The rooms are spacious and they offered my sister an extra bed free of charge.

Hotel wifi is not okay for digital nomads and we were already notified by the front desk (I forgot your name,Kuya but you were so honest and helpful).

We do have back up mobile data (GOMO) however, we still had a difficult time working at night because we can't get a stable reception in the room. We found another digital nomad working by the hallway on the sofa, maybe the wifi is better there.

Good thing we traveled during the weekend and have filed our leaves in advance😁

Absolutely amazing hotel that sits on the top of this amazing island. The room was spotless and cleaners came everyday. Couldn't fault this hotel. It's got everything you need for your stay on this amazing island and once you're here you'll realise you don't need anything but more 🧡

They hotel is great and the staff is amazing. The only bad thing is the water pressure on the 4th floor.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms have been modernized. The room was clean and modern. The beds were comfy. Washroom was modern and spacious. The view is the next building within 1 foot but we didn't care. We're only there to sleep. The location was excellent.

As to location, the place is a legit beach front walkable distance also for the City Center and white beach.

As to rooms, it is nice, clean and romantic. With warm and cold shower.

As to service, the place offer wifi connection, daily cleaning of rooms (if you wish for housekeeping daily), free buffet breakfast every morning. They also offer dinner and lunch in buffet set up at affordable price. Food are mostly filipino foods.

Generally, the place is excellent for stay. I would recommend it if you want a place for stay in boracay. Affordable rooms (not so pricy since we availed the promo rooms).

We didn't stay here but the offered to take us up to the rooms to see what they offered. If it is in your budget I have to say it is worth looking at. The service was amazing and they were not pushy at all.

5-star location, big rooms, good room amenities.

TO IMPROVE:

1. Staff service:
- Very slow check-in and check-out process. Been waiting for 40 minutes before my turn of check-in process. I witnessed that there are seniors coming in and the bellman is just standing in the podium near the front desk (this was 9 am of May 2, 2023 for recording purposes).
- Housekeeping needs to be called 3 times in a day to clean our room (this was April 30, 2023 for recording).

2. Breakfast:
- Must have options for plated breakfast. The chicken tocino is really not good.

3. Facilities:
- No airport transfers.
- Internet is very very slow to none.
- Elevator is not working for 2 days of our stay (May 1-2, 2023).

A 5 star! Not too expensive but full of value. Breakfast was great, plated but unlimited bread, coffee, juice, fruits. Beachfront! In the evening, there's a live band which plays soft music so you can just have a drink and chill. Def worth another visit.

Staff were very accommodating! From the moment that we step into the hotel and request for early check in, for requesting to open our room multiple times, and requesting to let our friends leave their bags before their check in the other hotel, and many more... thank you to the staff. You make us feel like a family 🥰🥰🥰

Very clean room, a clean environment, and friendly staff. Definitely will come back again. A Deluxe room may I suggest if you want a relaxing staycation in Boracay.

Budget friendly beachfront hotel in station 3, right beside astoria current. Hotel rates include breakfast for 2 pax. Kids must pay for bfast at 350Php/pax per night of stay. Fee of 1k/pax per night for addtl bed for kids. They are helpful kind and accomodating. We got the king bed room on the 4th floor. Room is huge with tv, ac, hot/cold shower, towels, toiletries and closet. Lacks bidet though. Highly recommended for families and couples.

This review is for the Resto Bar only. It is Christmas Eve, most places have finished the live performances but currently there are two exceptionally good singers harmonising having fun on stage and a versatile guitarist performing a mix of modern and traditional songs. The whole cocktail menu is 2-4-1, the melon ball a favourite. The vibe is lively and some people are getting up to do Kareoke. Elron the barman is throwing some serious moves to the music behind the bar which the patrons are absolutely lapping up. Walking up and down the stations this was the spot and everyone raised a cheer for a Merry Christmas!

Great place to stay while in Boracay. Beach front and very near to almost everything that you may need. Clean rooms and very quiet at night.

Friendly staff, great value, plus they have a wide bathroom which is what i liked the most
