My stay at Paolyn Houseboat in Palawan was fantastic. The houseboat is comfortable and offers amazing views of the clear waters. We enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking right from the boat, and the marine life was incredible.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated their efforts to be environmentally friendly.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Paolyn Houseboat for a unique and relaxing stay in Palawan.

Such a great experience, the staff is friendly, they collect you from the airport or from your local hotel, drive you to the pier and then transport you to the lagoon in your own private boat. Once there as it was too early to check in, we were still allowed to use the facilities so we spent some time swimming and kayaking.

We were eventually taken to our bungalow, for the four of us, which again was great with plenty of room inside, sunbeds and even our own private area for food.

Food was great and plentiful and about the same that you would spent on the mainland.

Lastly, make sure to opt for the private tours around the island, was great to have our own boat and we managed to beat the crowds at quite a few spots and were able to leave when we wanted.

All in all, we had a great time and would love to return some day!

I will not forget my time at Paolyn. In our entire Coron stay, it might have been the most special to me. From the friendly pick up from the wharf, to the amazing views going into the restaurant, to the friendly cats that entertained us while we ate. We took a dip in the cool water and it was so clean and so fresh! Got a chance to meet Paolo himself and he was as warm as the entire place. Next time I will stay longer for sure.

A really special experience. The house boats are all in what feels like a private lagoon, everything is delivered by boat and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. You feel really close to nature as you can see the fish swimming around your house boat, jump into the water within a couple of paces from your room for a swim or take out the complimentary kayaks for a paddle. The whole operation provides a lot of support for local causes that you don't immediately see - things like supporting the indigenous tribe that owns the island, and rescuing local cats and dogs.

We stayed on the Bamboo houseboat, it has 4 units, one on each corner, and you fell reasonably private. The bathroom was a good size with a proper shower, plenty of storage in the room and lots of outside space including a dining area and a large deck for sunbathing.

A really special place I'd recommend for couples as well as groups of friends.

The room is basic, no air conditioner because the only source of electricity is through Solar Panels. But all you need in a hotel room is there! Fans, wifi, toiletries, phone for communication with the staffs, etc.
The service is superb!! All you need will be delivered into your houseboat. Even cost-free help from the local divers, my phone was submerged into the waters but the locals there helped mo to retrieved it 🥺
The food at the restaurant is also superb!! We are surprised by their big serving size per meal.
Also the owner, Paolo, gave us complimentary wine. 🥰
Paolyn houseboats also offer “private” tour, avail it!! It is very worth it!! They will take you to tourist spots early in the morning, you can really enjoy the places because it is not yet crowded if you will go very early.
Overall, Paolyn Houseboat is indeed recommended!! Book at least 2 nights to really enjoy the place.

What an amazing experience it was staying here! You get what you pay for, I knew I wasn’t getting a 5 star hotel room because it’s in the middle of nowhere but you get an unforgettable experience of staying in the beautiful Coron island and getting to enjoy places like twin lagoon, kayangan lake etc just by yourselves. Great snorkelling right next to the houseboats and the most amazing people that work there! Great great service and accommodated everything we needed.

Aside from how beautiful the surroundings were during the day, lying on your deck chairs at night and looking up the sky, you will be treated to the most amazing sky, I’ve never seen so many stars visible at night due to the lack of light pollution in the island.

We initially booked for two nights but as soon as we arrived, and saw how beautiful the place was we immediately asked for an extension! One of my more memorable holidays!

I stayed at Paolyn Houseboats for three nights and was blown away by the surrounding beauty, amazing people, and mouthwatering food!! It was an unforgettable experience that without a doubt is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Julius, my boat captain for the two half day tours, did an outstanding job in getting me to picturesque locations with little to no other people around. Mary Grace was so sweet in taking care of me for my food orders and service at the floating restaurant. You cannot go to Coron without staying at Paolyn houseboats. Besides the private tours and tasty dishes, these houseboats are well constructed and located in quiet, breathtaking lagoons.

The best place to stay in Coron in my opinion. The views are amazing, the environment is so peaceful and the water is crystal clear with complementary snorkels and kayak. The tour we got to snorkelling spots was amazing and well worth it. The service was exceptional, super organised and flexible. The rooms were adequate and clean.

The prawns dishes were very delicious, prices for food and beverages were reasonable.

In summary we had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

This place is truly special. There's no other place that gives you experience like this. You stay right in the lagoon at Coron island near Twin lagoon. You stay right on top of crystal clear turquoise color water where you can jump off into the water to swim any time you like. You also get to see beautiful limestones around your room. We saw the most beautiful sky at night in our lives. the sky was full of stars, it was crazy beautiful, we star gazed and fell asleep every night at the open deck. Friendly and helpful staffs. The only down side is the lack of some amenities. But this is forgiven for the amazing overall experience the houseboat provides you. This place is truly one of a kind. You must come to experience it yourself.

This is without doubt the best place in Coron. Amazing solution how to offer the guests comfortable unforgettable experience, contact with nature in this paradise but preserve nature and cleanliness in the heart of very sensitive environment on the same time. This was the most amazing stay of our trip to the Philippines. It is difficult to describe the magic of this place. The service is unbelievable for such a remote place, the food is just great, the access to nearby places you can visit before crowds arrive is priceless… all in all the whole project Paolo runs should be the role model for others. We had such a great time at Paolyn houseboats. Staying overnight in the lagoon is an amazing experience. We were able to explore the lakes, lagoons and reefs before the tour boats arrived and even saw some turtles. Paolo and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Hanging out at the restaurant was also very enjoyable. What a spectacular location! Before eating lunch you could swim, paddle surf or kayak in the crystal clear lagoon. The food and fruit shakes were also very delicious. We will definitely come back!

Far better than we imagined. OK the accommodation is basic, but the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is good and the shower is better than a lot of 5* hotels. The WiFi is very fast all over the area. Connection to reception from the room phone is easy. The restaurant and bar are excellent. You can eat in your private dining area, delivery is free prompt and reliable. All this and it is less expensive than our last hotel on the mainland. A free canoe is moored at your room dawn to dusk. You can paddle along the coast to beaches and adjoining lagoons. Excursions are available.There is an endless supply of drinking water.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! Let me start of by saying we have travelled the world and we’ve stayed at some amazing hotels but my good lord our stay at Paolyn by far has been the best experience ever. I’m not joking, it’s probably the best place I’ve been to out of the 35+ countries I’ve been. So, after flight after flight we got to Coron, we got picked up by Paolyn and taken to the boat (this is a free pick up and included in the price). The weather was on and off but that didn’t matter, once we got to the floating restaurant we were just amazed at where we were, we were offered a free drink and went through all the introductions. We were then taken to our room by speedboat and my god, it felt surreal. The water was crystal clear, it was secluded and it was out of this world, there were so many shades of blue. I actually don’t know why people complain about anything whether it’s the price of the food or any of the activities it’s worth every single penny. We had experiences where we had ALL the lakes to ourselves, I mean that’s what you get for the price, the fact you get all this included in the price. Forget the Maldives, forget Bora Bora, just come here, the lakes, the views, the service is absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to come here again.

If you’re planning a trip to Coron, do yourself a favor and book a stay at Paoly Houseboats. Trust me; it’s worth every penny. The people are beyond friendly the food is amazing and the location is a dream , simply Paradise. You can snorkel and kayaking in the lagoon, take a full day tour to discover Coron Island, which spoiler alert, is breathtaking!🏝🫶🏼 Our captain was a skilled driver , I felt safe and he knew the best spots to visit! In case you are wondering the Wifi is fast and I didn’t need to wait for hot water either! I will try to attach some pictures so you can get a feel of this beautiful place 🩵

We stayed here for one night and wanted to get the most out of our time here and asked if we could get picked up early and dropped off late which was no problem. The place is breathtaking, one of the best experiences we have had in the Philippines. The water is turquoise clear, you get a private canoe so you can explore the island. The food is incredible, you get a phone in your cabin so you can call anytime and order drinks and they ask you to pre order food so they can prepare it for you. The people are wonderful, the owner has hired all the staff from the local tribe on the island and they are so happy and knowledgeable. It is expensive compared to other hotels, but if you have the budget I would 100% recommend, it’s an experience to remember.

This was a real highlight of our trip to the Philippines, it's such a unique and special place. Being able to wake up in a lagoon is wonderful. You can choose to have any of your meals either at your houseboat or at the restaurant. Two mornings we were lucky enough to spot a turtle swim past after breakfast at our houseboat! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. The food was excellent, and having the choice between eating at the restaurant and your own private deck was great. We did two half-day tours which were very worthwhile. They were timed to avoid the crowds, so we got to swim at the lakes and some amazing coral gardens without crowds. We fully intend to return some day.

Paolyn Houseboats ranks as one of my “Top 10” (and maybe even “Top 5”) hotel experiences in all my travels. It’s a very unique property worth splurging on. We were a group of three that stayed in an entire glass houseboat because that was all that was available at the time for two nights. We are eager to return and would stay for four nights next time. The pictures and outdated website do not do this place justice at all. Set your expectations low and prepare to be wowed.

A special shout out to Princess in the restaurant. She was so kind. Also, there was a really nice bartender who was always smiling and ready to assist.

The one thing that can be greatly improved upon, though, is how to book a room. It’s very cumbersome to exchange messages back and forth.

What a great place to spend your time in Coron. You can kayak to twin lagoons, snorkle, and have some amazing food at your houseboat or at the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to any needs you encountered.

We had an amazing time spent at the big boathouse. Location is simply breathtakingly beautiful! Paolo (owner) and the whole team were all very welcoming and I just want to thank you all for the amazing service considering its remote location. We plan to come back again someday.
