Lagoons, lakes, coral reef, water so clear it is unbelievable. Snorkeling the Reef was amazing. Beautiful fish and coral. Tropical escape on a private tour. Includes Barracuda lake, hot lunch and soft drink or water. Tour guide, boat pilot, deck hand, 5-6 destinations. You're gonna love it! P.S. The coral shown in these pics of this particular review is NOT the coral you will see if you snorkel the reef. The Reef is much nicer! Have fun!

This was such a beautiful island to visit, there are many unique and beautiful sites to see. Lots of beach time and if you rent a boat you can go shopping for ingredients and they will cook it up for you. This was such an amazing experience and visiting this island was definitely worth it. Check out the pictures it’s a really cool spot to visit during your trip. Would recommend it.

Coron is the third-largest island in the Calamian Islands in northern Palawan in the Philippines. The island is part of the larger municipality of the same name. It is about 170 nautical miles (310 km) southwest of Manila and is known for several Japanese shipwrecks of World War II vintage. Because of its unique ecological features, the entire area is protected by several legal proclamations.

The island and surrounding fishing grounds are part of the ancestral domain of the indigenous Tagbanwa people, officially designated such on June 5, 1998. Known as Calis among the Tagbanwas and Coronians, its tribal chieftain is Rodolfo Aguilar I.

The island comprises two barangays of the municipality of Coron: Banuang Daan and Cabugao.

Amazing beaches and views.!!! Nature at it's best. Best pricing for island hopping is to go to their downtown and haggle cheaper deals 😉😉😉😉

Superbly surprised by astounding natural beauty of surrounding slopes of mountains and crystal clear sea. The beautiful coral reefs, marvelous sand bars and surreal lagoons are treasures for memories. Our host Calamian travel guides and staff were knowledgeable, caring and friendly. The courtesy and service at Two Seasons Bayside Hotel were admirable. Coron, is a natural gem, literally a Pearl of the Orient!

Definitely one of the BEST places to go to in the Philippines! The crystal jade-like color of water is truly world-class!

Food is a bit pricey for meat dishes. Better buy seafood and enjoy. Will definitely go back when it's ok to travel.

Coron is one of the best islands I have ever been to. This Island is in the Philippines. Very beautiful island with amazing sceneries and a lot of water activities. There are several areas on the islands that you could go and visit. It includes Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon and several beaches. There's also a WWW II Japanese skeleton shipwreck. The water is so clear. I recommend to do snorkeling to fully appreciate the underwater sceneries. There's a lot of colorful fishes and corals underwater . The beaches and the water are so pristine.
I recommend to get a tour package which include a boat of your own with a crew . That's the best way to visit the island. This will allow you to go to places at your own time and not limited to a specific group time schedule. The crew will even prepare your food , typical Filipino food like rice, grilled fish and vegetables, all fresh and freshly prepared while your on your way to the island. This is really one of my unforgettable travel experience in the Philippines

The place lived up to its "label" as one of the Philippines's must-visit sites.

During our tour in the Philippines we were undecided between going in the more “know” El Nido or to discover Coron Island and we decided for the latter.
Since we started looking for hotels, we realized how there were not many nice places/restaurants to go but, this made us think that probably we would have found less tourists as well.
In the island, to go around you need to use tuc-tuc and i strongly advise to get one and visit the town; there, do not expect to see anything breathtaking but, you really can feel/experience the authentic Filipino culture and i personally loved it.
Wherever you decide to stay in terms of hotel you can ask to book the Coron boat tour but, we advise to get a private one.
If you are a couple or small group of friends, it will cost you 100$ but i am sure you won’t be disappointed.
As it happened many times in Philippines we realized how many of the tours end up being overcrowded by tourists but, having your own boat, allow you to get in every spot before everyone else and to stop anywhere you like without following the “group schedule”. On top of this, they will provide you with a nice typical lunch: grilled fish, rice cooked vegetables.
This boat tour was probably one of the best we had in Philippines and you will see the Lake Kayangan, WWII Japanese shipwreck, Twin Lagoon etc etc; i do not want to spoil more because i am sure you will love it.

One of the best islands for me. It is composed of majestic rock formations and lagoons. Don't forget the fine white sand beaches. Really great place for diving activities. I booked at JY Travel and Tours. R2R Bayview Inn was my accommodation, a good place as well. Message me if you want to know more.

The entire trip we had was simply unforgettable. I haven't the time to take pictures during the island hopping because I was too busy enjoying the view. If you'll go island hopping, be sure not miss any adventure opportunity like snorkeling and Kayaking. You'll get to enjoy the nature more closely in comparison if you're just going to sit there on the boat ogling.
