Sunlight Hotel Coron

We spent a couple of nights at Sunlight in February 2024 after staying at the more expensive Two Seasons hotel next door and not liking that one.

If you are considering the two and on the fence, like we were, definitely opt for Sunlight. The service is far better, the rooms are much more clean, and the prices far more down to earth! Lovely stay, food, drinks and service. Thank y'all at Sunlight for making our stay so nice and memorable!

Not a problem for us, but the broken floor boards in the bedrooms are a bit off putting. Will they think we broke them? Probably not but a friend of mine tripped on her floor board and broke a cup, which they wanted to charge her for. We thought that was odd. But the employees are very very sweet and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful location for sunsets. The vegetables are the best dishes on their menu. We also enjoyed the crispy pata and the fried chicken.

Best hotel in town, and the price is extremely fair compared to the neighboring hotel which we also stayed in. The service here is great and the rooms are clean with private balconies. It's definitely worth paying for the better rooms upon booking because they go quickly, and the view of the bay is gorgeous.

I stayed at Sunlight with my family for 5 days and 4 nights and I would definitely recommend the place for anyone visiting Coron. The service is amazing and every employee is very polite and helpful. They are proactive and are always considering what may provide more comfort for you during your stay!

We also had the pleasure of having the breakfast buffet every morning during our stay, and they have a small but delicious selection of hot foods, cold foods and coffee.

They also have partnerships with local tour companies which offer activities such as snorkelling, free diving, scuba diving, jet skiing, island hopping, atv biking and much more! Booking through the hotel was a seamless experience, with pickup being right outside.

I would definitely stay here again if ever I came back to Coron. It is safe to say my family is already missing this place! 10/10.

Stayed in Sunlight for 3d/2n to rest and relax after a 5 days island explorations and activities wherein I stayed on a different accom. Sunlight is so great which is different on the one shown on the pic in Agoda where I booked my . They have a best location and a nice view of the sea, town and islands. Breakfast buffet, fods are good and delicious which I even forgot my diet and wearing a bikini. Staffs are so nice and hospitable. My favorite place, restaurant and pool bar 😁 Sunlight treated me like their VIP customer. Will booked another accomadation here when I get back to Coron again soon. Perfect. I will definitely recommend Sunlight Guest Hotel.

We had 3 nights stay in Superior twin room. It was very comfortable .They had all the amenities and can be replenished upon request.Breakfast buffet was good for 2 adults for 3days. Reception is very welcoming..Its really a 4 Star hotel in very central location for all the tourist attractions. In fact you can see the hotel from top of Mt Tapyas mountain view deck. Nice Swimming pool. Upon small issues the manager was very prompt and took nice decisive actions. We love this place and would highly recommend.

There are so many great things about this hotel. Breakfast (has omelet station included), pool, view, outdoor seating, hot water in sink and shower, reasonable alcohol prices, helpful front guard, airport shuttle... Etc.

Service is outstanding! If there is anything you need, just ask the staff and they can likely make it happen.

We stayed here on December 7-11. The staff were very accommodating. They treat you like a family in here! The customer service was superb! We were running late on our tour so Jason (the waiter) just packed our breakfast which was awesome and it was very delicious too. It is a little bit far from the main town but they have a service tricycle and Ace can drive you down to the town. Also I accidentally overpaid on our dinner when we checked out at 4am. I just left the payment to the guard but thankfully they gcash the extra money I paid which is another plus. I highly recommend this hotel. The ambiance is so cute and romantic and it’s away from the chaos of the town.

Miss Roan and her team are the best. Very accommodating tempting us to extend our stay a little more days. The food is amazing, i felt like home since i live overseas. Definitely coming back! Worth the stay. PS: Also, we were walkin (no hotel reservation) and they welcomed us warmly and helped us all out after booking difficulties with Agoda

Highly recommended if you want legit hotel experience without breaking the bank. I love the staff, very hospitable. All my request were granted. They also assisted to book our private island tour. Buffet Breakfast is fairly ok but freshly cooked omelette definitely completes it. Plus the view of the sea while dining makes all the experience great! I came for the hotel accommodations and this place did not fail. Congratulations Sunlight Guest Hotel! Keep up the great service! You are one of the reasons my first Coron experience is a great one! I will definitely come back and hopefully soon!

we had a lovely stay, with good WiFi which we need to work ( data mobile connection is awful in Coron in general, we were provided with a router in the room). staff very pleasant, trying to accommodate all our requests. Very nice breakfast buffet as well. With local offer we got a very good price in Agoda. 20 pesos( per person) away from town by tricycle. they also provide scooter rental service. Black curtains in the room and very quiet to rest. Even Smart TV to watch Netflix!! 👏👏 And the pool.

Great hotel! The employees will accommodate you with professionalism. The food is delicious too!

Stayed here for 3 days and it feels like home to me.Been eyeing on their breakfast. Clean room nearby the beach. Yummy food people are friendly. Will surely book here we also went up to the view deck.

We have enjoy our stay, the staffs are very nice, friendly, accommodating and approachable. I also enjoyed the view of the sea, very relaxing..

Really nice hotel for the money, walking distance from Coron Port. Bit far from downtown but that's fine. Well maintained and appointed, nice view of the wharf. Also is the most convenient place to transfer to the Island Resort.

Absolutely amazing! Customer service is 💯💯💯 the place is stunning and well kept.. we stayed at Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Resort, not the one in the town..

but I must say, the food is actually very bad. Not much variety, over priced for its quality and really not cooked well. We've raised this to the management many times, let's hope they make changes.. I see that it has been a problem in the past as well. But other than that, it was a good holiday for me and my family. Good thing we brought japanese noodles 😂

This may be a 3 star hotel although it’s perfect, location is spot on close to the downtown and port. Breakfast was delicious, staff super friendly! Rooms were clean

I went there for the boat to sunlight eco tourism island resort (SETIR). they were accommodating. many areas instagrammable. the staff seems friendly and polite.

in SETIR the place was really great. staffs are very responsive in viber, there was wifi and carts, towels and other amenities very accessible and the place was beyond beautiful. The srirakan villa, to be specific has glass floors which allows u to see the waters, corals and fish below., top it up with a jacuzzi by the balcony overlooking the majestic waters and islands nearby. The experience was surreal.
(also if u are lucky, you may come across one of the squirrel in the island)

Clean, good service. Breakfast buffet average. Not many guests when we stayed. Pool was relatively empty.
