Balaibinda Lodge

I got upgraded to a bigger room and they give a welcome drink as well which both were nice surprises upon my arrival. The staff are the BEST! They've been super kind, helpful, gave local recommendations, even helped me hail a tricycle when I was leaving (and they kept waiting with me outside) they're just super nice and made my visit so pleasant - all of them!

As for the room, I got upgraded as I said and my new room had a balcony and was of a decent size (not big but also not too small) it was squeaky clean as is the whole property and they'd replace everything when I had it cleaned. The location is right by the port where all boats begin/end tours from and it's also super close to restaurants, shops, ATMs etc. so it's perfect.

All in all you get your money's worth 100%. I'd stay again if I go back to Coron unless I want more of a luxury stay.

The only negative thing I have to say is that one of the towels I found in the room was torn (I found 2 towels) and when they cleaned my room they took both the towels and replaced it with 1 good towel :) but it was fine since I was alone.

We enjoyed our stay in a quiet, clean and spacious courtyard room very much and think the price is absolutely worth it. One of the nicest options for that kind of budget we stayed in lately.
Staff was great and always around to accommodate us.
The only thing we skipped was breakfast (which is included) as there were no vegan options - but we’re used to that, so we won’t complain 😬.
Rooms to the street could be quite loud, I reckon, so try to book/get a courtyard room.

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough, I think it’s the best one in its price range in Coron:

• The location is very central, it’s a 5-minute walk from the port so you can walk when going island hopping for the day. It’s also next to all the restaurants and shops in the town. In spite of its location, it is still peaceful inside because there is a little garden between the busy streets and the entrance of the accommodation.

• The staff are very kind and helpful, they offered to clean our room and change our towels every day. Breakfast was delivered right on time each day (you need to preorder your food and time from the night before).

• Facilities in the accommodation are exactly as advertised — water heater, water pressure, fan and air conditioning all work great, the room and the entire accommodation in general is spotless, breakfast was always fresh, and they gave us some nice welcome drinks while checking in. We could even rent beach towels for 30 pesos and they also arranged airport transfers for us.

The staff are great and the rooms are clean. A serene and quiet place in the heart of town. Home away from home indeed. Highly recommended.

I am a travel guide and I am coming there regularly with my groups. It looks kind of low profile but it appeared to be very charming hotel. Helpful stuff, good breakfast, nice location, good email contact and good price. There is a big terrace on the roof that we can do meetings.
CONS: Basic rooms are very small and side road rooms are not recommended (noise from the street).

Balaibinda was central and very clean. We were concerned about noise but we were in a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The breakfast food was delicious and prompt which made it easy to keep to our schedule for tours. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend if you are staying in Coron for a few days!

Great place to stay compared to a similar room price we stayed in El Nido. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who plan to have their vacation in Coron.

Staff are polite and helpful, however some main receptionists are not that smiling and friendly. But I can say that they are responsible and dutiful.

The room is worth it at its price. Every little thing is well thought out and taken into account: heating system in showers, the phone, TV, however, the towels need to be bought again because they look worn out (just my opinion).

Breakfast is monotonous and it might not hurt for the lodge to have more varied food options and a more distinctive (with menu and food presented) restaurant area. It will definitely improve customer satisfaction.

In total, my stay in Coron was really satisfactory and the place made me happier.

Homey place, good & comfortable bed, very friendly and accommodating staffs, nice breakfast particularly the tapa and danggit, and nice location. Better stay in their courtyard rooms to have a good view. Highly recommended.

One of the best and affordable hotel in coron. The place is near everything (market,dock,restaurants, and souvenir shop. They also have their own convenience store which is mind you, one of the cheapest retailer there is in CORON. The owner was nice and very generous too, they will give you free juice upon check in, and they a very nice roof deck that has a beach view where you can eat and hang out at night...all in all the place is great!

Nice hotel and staff. The room was clean and the breakfast is what the promised. Good quality/value hotel and very good location, just next to the main square and 5 min from boat pier.

I'm giving 5 Star for this not because of their room or amenities but because of the kindness of it's Co-owner/Manager Ms. Doll Palanca-Guttierez. Last December 8-10, 2017 my Wife and I booked at this lodge but unfortunately upon our arrival on the 1st day of our trip we got a motorcycle accident and we both sustained leg fracture. Ms. Doll gave us the refund of the payment for the supposedly 3 days stay in the lodge and even send her staff to look after us at the Hospital and provide us everything we need for our 3 days stay in the Hospital.. She facilitate the booking of our ticket in 2GO since we can no longer travel by air and see to it that everything is ok for our departure back to Manila and even gave us cash before we depart. Trully She's an Angel sent from above. Thanks to Ms. Doll and we look forward to see her again.

Its very nice place and comfortable its near at the baywalk and in front of the lodge you can see the park and its near at restaurants and stores also there staff are very nice and kind and there foods are good too 😊😊😉😊😉
