Blue Waters Inn Coron

1st of all, the best AC. The machines are new. Good clean rooms, no bugs. Good water pressure, along with hot water. We were delayed 2 days because of a typhoon and they worked with us on the reservation, even though they didn’t have to. We made the reservation on Agoda. So we decided to stay extra days. I wish every hotel I stay in was this nice. Everything was exactly as it should be. It’s also right in the middle of town next to all the restaurants, and reggae dive center picked us up every morning.

Working with a nonprofit (Life Matters International) and this is (and remains) our chosen hotel when we work in or pass through Coron on our medical missions in the Calamian islands for all the reasons listed in other reviews. Only one way to make this place even better: A generator for when the power goes out (may happen during storms). Very polite and super helpful front desk and attentive staff throughout. Ma’am Charmaine runs a great place!

Me and my wife loved our stay here. The Staff led by Ate Maine was absolutely WONDERFUL. They took good care of us. The best costumer service we've experienced. They were on top of our schedule for our tours and van ride back to the airport. The rooms are a bit small but if you're doing tours all day it doesn't really matter. Location is great. Everything is walking distance. I'd definitely come back here

We had an amazing stay at Blue Waters Inn! The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff are super helpful and informative so you don't have to worry about navigating your trip when you reach Coron. Our room was more than spacious for me and my wife with lots of room for luggage (we had 2 carry ons and 2 large suitcases). Bed is large and comfy. Pillows are superb! Air conditioning is great as well. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the main meeting point for all the island hopping tours so no need to hop on a shuttle bus.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect location - lots of stores and restaurants within close walking distance. Easy transportation everywhere. The Manager Charmaine and her staff were so lovely and really helpful. Helped book tours, organise transport and gave us tips on best places to go. The room was great - comfortable beds, cold AC and a good shower. We would stay again and recommend to everyone. Salamat :)

Friendly hotel, room is bigger more than what I think. You can go to 4 floors with good view in pantry.

Except all of room there is no view, however with the good price, I think you can book it compare to another hotel same price near by with weak internet

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t recommend it enough! The location is amazing it’s right in the centre so walking distance to everything but yet still quiet on a night. The rooms and very clean and comfortable! Also the staff are so friendly and helpful which was so lovely. Overall if you are staying in Coron you need to stay here!

As a couple who had to balance work with vacation, we loved this place.

Wi-fi in our rooms were atrocious (as mentioned by staff, and they were correct: all rooms had terrible wifi, if any at all) but the lobby and 4th floor lounge had super fast internet.

We particularly liked staying at the 4th floor for work, as it has good air conditioning, a water dispenser, a clean toilet, and even a bar area with utensils and a working fridge. Wifi was not only fast but stable the entire time. The lounge was also open the 24/7 so we could work at our own pace.

Because of this, I was able to focus and do a lot of work.

Room-wise, it was fine. I didn't expect much from it anyway. But I liked the cleanliness of the beds. My back is particularly sensitive and can sense when a hotel bed isn't clean, but our room on the 1st floor was clean. My only qualm is the non-existent counter space at the bathroom, since I couldn't set my toiletries down properly. It was fine for a short stay but for longer stays I'd like counter space.

Service-wise, the hotel staff are very friendly. Ms Maine the manager and all of the staff had great recommendations. Not only were they able to suggest places, but they can arrange them for you and they give an accurate breakdown of expected costs.

Location was great, it's close to the town center and it's near everything. Lots of places we could get to just via walking. Lots of tricycles passing by or just waiting outside.

Overall, really loved this place for my use-case and would like to come back :)

Great value for money hotel. Firstly, it is spotless and rooms are very clean. Very comfortable mattress & pillows on the bed with good Aircon in rooms. Bathrooms are very clean with consistently hot and powerful shower. Wi-Fi even on the fourth floor was good and enough to stream videos! Coron being an island, it’s expected that sometimes Wi-Fi can be spotty but blue water has great connection in the reception and rooms too. They don’t serve food but have an Aircon dining area on the 4th floor with great sunset views over the surrounding town. The staff were warm and welcoming, help you with airport transfer( tour info and food recommendations. Charmaine the manager was wonderful and so sweet.

Great stay in the center of the town in close proximity of all the bars and restaurants.
The staff was very nice and assisted with everything we needed.

The only downside is the lack ok WiFi in the rooms. Works very well in the lobby, so not really a big downside at the end.

The terrace at the 4th floor is very nice.

The best hotel if you want to stay in Coron. The room although small are very clean. Also there is no elevator and one has to climb stairs. The rooms are quite with no noise from road. Its location is very good right in middle of all the restaurants and near to port. There are tricycle available just in front. There are some any problems here so do check out the room.

Amazing location and value for money, very clean and staff very attentive and lovely. Make sure you get recommendations from Maine (manager) at reception as she gives excellent tips on tours and if you just want to chill out and will organise the tricycle for you at good price. Will stay here again when back in Coron. Thank you

We had a great stay at Blue Waters Inn! Charmaine was very helpful and attentive to every detail throughout our stay with everything at the hotel including a motorbike rental. The other staff were attentive to helping us up the four flights of stairs with bags upon check in and check out! The room (4th floor) had a good AC, good toilet and shower. (With wall that separates from the toilet). The bed was comfortable and the wifi did work perfect in our room! The noise level was okay and bearable with the AC on but note that it is noisy everywhere as you are located on one of the main streets of Coron!
Negatives could be the stairs (no elevator) and the noise but the help with bags from the staff and the AC helped with this.

Suggestions: A light comforter or blanket on the bed would be amazing! (Makes sense that there isn’t one considering the climate in Coron.)

The service is awesome. All the staff are friendly and helpful and have good suggestions. The room is clean and cleaned daily if you wish. The location is excellent so close to the heart of coron town proper.

Great hotel in Coron. Great price, nice rooms, right on a great street. The hotel is in walking distance of great shops & restaurants, & more. We loved this area & were very happy with the hotel. The staff was very nice & we enjoyed our stay there!

Our first hotel on the island and we love the location and value for money.

Very clean, staff were amazing and helpful.

Very good location central to restaurants. Superb pricing on the tours offered.

Only negative was no running hot water in the room and no outside seating area.

There is a nice covered terrace on floor 3 but it has no lounging comfortable seating.

We would stay again if we visited koron for a few days.

As a solo traveller, I stayed at Blue Water Inn for 2 nights at either end of my Coron sailing expedition.
Highlights include:
- stellar central location (!) walking distance to restaurants, bars, the port and tours - this makes a huge difference when travelling solo and for ease of convenience without having to spend extra on transportation, and feeling safe enough to get home in the evening
- clean, quiet and comfortable lodgings (simple basic accommodation - no added frills such as breakfast, etc, however they do provide basic toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap.
- Sharmaine, the inn manager is amazing and will gladly offer you suggestions for an enjoyable stay
- this place is spotless, cleaning staff readily available throughout the day

Note: Wifi is not strong in the rooms, as pointed out to you by hotel staff upon checking in. There is excellent wifi in the lounge areas, and also in town at nearby cafes.

Warm and friendly staff, clean and comfy room, great value for money and awesome location. Highly recommended
