We called their number on short notice, and the manager/owner had gladly given us a room. They also offered that we use the external shower/ washroom of another unit so we could have more privacy as they had clients coming to use the room next to ours, and both our rooms shared the bathroom.
Small things make big differences. The bathrooms/showers had covers for their light switches. The AC in our unit was kept clean. The TV had good signal. They left a broom/dustpan in our room, which was a huge help, considering it was a beach-side room. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled nice, but the towels were the fluffy, non-absorbent type, so I suggest bringing your own. The owners were very helpful, friendly, and approachable. They even allowed us to sing a couple of songs on the karaoke machine just after we checked out and were about to leave. The place was private enough, and they had a parking space for motorcycles. If I could only say one less-than-stellar thing about the place, it is that the table just outside the room is placed right below the external part of the AC. The leak from the AC drips into the bench outside. We sat on that wet bench a couple of times.
