Luzon Datum of 1911

Worth the trek. One of the most geographically significant areas in our country, which should warrant more visits.

Going to Luzon Datum was a bit of a challenge. The road was a bit steep and the car had a hard time going up but in fairness the road was really developed and wide, so it's really not that scary travelling even if it's uphill and near the creek. Upon reaching the parking area and the entrance going to Luzon Datum there will be another challenge that you need to complete, you need to climb the stair, around 400-500 steps. I remembered resting for a couple of times going up to catch my breath. It was a very tiring experience. However, once you reach the top you will see the majestic 360 degrees view of the island of Marinduque. All worth it!

Your 400+ steps will be worth it once you see the picturesque view at the top.
There is no entrance fee. You have an option to donate, any amount will do.

I forgot how many steps we climbed going to the top, but worth it when you get there. I suggest bringing water when you plan to go here,

Great bike destination in Marinduque! But you need to be physically fit if you'll do this because of steep climbs. Not for beginners.

This is the geological center of the Philippines! THE trek is also nice specially during Holy Week.

Visited during the Holy Week, I think they changed some of the steps to make the hike a little bit easier for people. The view at the top was worth the climb.

Worth to hike. The place is more developed than the last time I went here, it has more roads now and railings.

Long ride bike from Pagbilao Quezon To Mogpog Marinduque

Good place to watch either sunrise or sunset. You get a 360 degree view of Tayabas Bay and the northern side of Marinduque.

a renovation is needed on this place. please have a store there. selling water and food or face towels. the over all this place is a must see destination. breath taking view awaits you there. it is a public place and open to all. however i dont recommend to stay till night in the said place. no electricity supply during my visit.
