It looks like these past few months, their service went too much down, based on the recent reviews. This review anyhow is based on our personal experience which was dated around a year ago. We are planning to dine in GoodTaste restaurant but due to the very long line, we decided to find a different place to eat and we stumbled upon this restaurant. I don’t have high expectation but sheesh, we loved everything. The steak is good (not the luxury level of good but good !) , the gravy is tasty. You will be the one to pour the gravy/sauce onto your sizzling plate. The soup tastes good as well, made me even more hungry. Service is fine so overall its 5 for me. It became our “must-eat” place right away every time we will visit Baguio.
I guess this place is not recommended if you will be eating as a family or any big group of people.
I think that is the root of the problem of others.

1st time to try this sizzling resto. Food taste average good with big serving and bang for the buck. Attentive and approachable staffs. Nostalgic ambiance feels and well ventilated atmosphere. Limited parking area. Walling distance away from Burnham park. Great sizzlers experience

If you want fairly priced steak with a hint of nostalgia. ( less than 400 pesos a big slab )

We ordered 2 Garlic Australian Rib Eye and 2 slice Sans Rival. The rib eye includes some fries, some beans, egh noodle and java rice. In one of our orders we asked to switch the Java rice to just fries and they allowed. Also this place have no service fee and they can prepare you food quickly.

Its a long line most of the time so just walk-in get a # and order ahead :)

I had the pleasure of dining at Sizzling Plate, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was impeccable. As for the steak, it was truly a masterpiece. Cooked to perfection and served sizzling hot, it was bursting with flavor and juiciness. The sides were equally impressive, with the loaded fried potato and grilled baguio beans complementing the steak perfectly. I highly recommend Sizzling Plate to anyone looking for a top-notch steakhouse experience.

Gone to the Sizzling Plate branches many times with my family, friends, and just myself recently. Never had a bad experience since growing up, they still keep their standards good for everything.

Relatively fast service considering that a LOOOT of people eat here. Parking is a bit tight. If you’re coming from burnham so i suggest you walk to the place rather than bring your car with you.

Value for money food. Try their sans rival. Yum!

Service is good but the food is really better! Place is very conducive to groups sharing a wonderful meal in this rustic place with a cool weather.

remember we are far away from normal life. therefore the steak & food is good! even the owner ask if all is fine

Queueing in line is well organized especially during rush hours. Order is served less than 10 minutes. Food is delicious for the price. For garlic served dish i suggest baste garlic for taste and aroma. Kindly sharpen the steak knives from time to time.

Same old Sizzling Plate serving tender porterhouse steaks that I have enjoyed since childhood. Same unappetizing appetizers but forgivable. Courteous and patient staff. Service is well within acceptable time.

The place has many visitors but we got there with a table open for us so we didn't have to wait. The steaks are good, we got the local porterhouse and Australian Rib Eye. Some of us had some problem on the cut though. But it is all good anyway. They give soup too for an appetizer. There is a space outside the main hall that is reserved for those who have kids.

Sizzling plate whether in Session, Carino or near Teacher's Camp still one of the best places to go to when craving for steak.

In all the years I have lived in, studied in, and visited Baguio City, it was my first time to try Sizzling Plate in Otek Street. I have only tried the Session Road branch before. So far, the service was great, the space is wider, and it's more quiet than the one in town or at SM City. Great food, great place!

If you love meat and sizzling food, you should check out Sizzling Plate and try their various meat meals. They have a lot of choices like their famous Grilled Pork Chop. They have desserts and many more. Their dishes are very savory and is sure to satisfy your cravings. It's a great place for family and friends. I recommend the place. One of our all time favorite restaurant in Baguio. The best sizzling grilled porkchop and chicken bbq.

Service was Great! All items on the menu were available and there was ample parking. Go early if you need a parking space.
