This was my first time dining in at this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was impeccably prepared, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable compared to their competitors, making it well worth the cost. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable and affordable meal.

I recently dined at Canto and had a fantastic experience. The Lomo Ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, while the Pesto Pasta was creamy and fresh. The Shrimp and Garlic Pizza was a delightful surprise with its crispy crust and flavorful toppings. Overall, Canto exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, cozy ambiance, and impeccable service. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in Baguio!

Went here twice, 2 years ago and today. Their ribs are still great! Soft ribs with perfect sauce. I had mashed potatoes as side which is also good, side salad is okay, i just think the sweet nuts is a bit off for the salad. I also ordered their meaty pizza and i think it’s a little expensive compared to their large servings of ribs, however, the flavor is great.
What i love about the restaurant is it’s ambiance, i just love how they made their indoors feel like an outside garden.
Great experience.

You can’t leave Baguio City without trying Canto BBQ’s famous Lomo ribs whole slab! It’s super popular with the locals. I went there on Father’s Day, and by dinner time, the ribs were already sold out. We ended up getting the salmon steak and chicken thigh instead. Let me tell you, the salmon steak was incredible! The special mashed potatoes with butter, fresh carrots, and green beans were so delicious—we finished everything in no time!

Ambiance : Nice ventilation, very classy and quiet place to dine out. The vibes are very relaxing people are quietly enjoying their food.

Service: Fast service, order arrived in an ample of time. Crew is great.

Food:
The Salad is so good cheap and good for family.

The Hummus is one of the best very tasty and I love the very mediterrean taste of it.

Salisbury Steak It was good my picky eater duaghter finished her food.

The Lomo OMG This the half slab is good fo 2-4 persons I think. It so tender and very savory. The mashed potato and rice really compliments.

Lasty the turon overload. Perfect way to finished our meal.

I have to come back to this place and try other dishes. We ordered their famous lomo
ribs and the meat melts in your mouth. They are so tender and juicy. We also ordered chicken pastel and is another dish that taste so well. Their dishes are on a bigger serving so order only what you can finish.

We had an amazing dining experience at Canto! The Lomo ribs were incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, while the Salad Days provided a refreshing and delicious balance to our meal. The sides of mashed potatoes and organic brown rice were exceptional, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to our dishes. Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was also impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Canto truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

My Baguio trip isn't complete without going to Canto for their ribs. I followed their journey, from before covid when they were just a small restaurant and then our visit in 2021 they already moved to a different location and now, 2024 I am surprised with the improvement! Their ribs are still the best and I will never get tired of eating them whenever I'm in Baguio.

Went here because it’s close where we stayed and we’re not disappointed. Went here around 11am and we didn’t have to wait at their reception area.
As suggested here in most reviews, we had the Lomo Ribs and the whole slab that came with two side-dishes was a feast for two. The Tomato and Shrimp Pasta is just okay, couldn’t finish it maybe because of the ribs. All we can say is that price is ‘sulit’ for the taste.

Always one of the staples when we go back to Baguio.

The Lomo Ribs were nice and tender. It had a good smokiness to it too, which played well with the bbq sauce. Served with some salad (this one is fun because it has some peanut brittle mixed in with the veggies) and mashed potatoes (light and creamy).

The Blue Marlin Ceviche was balanced well. It had some watermelon mixed in there, which is perfect with the acidity of the dish. The fish was clean and was not overly fishy.

But surprisingly my favorite is the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was perfect. It had some spice, the seasoning was good, and it was super tasty. I can eat these forever lol.

Service was superb. I used to live in Baguio and I frequented this restaurant then. When I went back this time, the server actually remembered me lol as a matakaw na person.

Try this place. I beg you. It gets busy during lunch and dinner so if you do not want to suffer the long lines, come here during odd hours.

This spot is really recommendable if you go solo, couple or in a group. The place overall is really welcoming and fresh. Free parking is offered in front of the place. This is one of those restaurants you won't mind waiting a bit for your food. They have strong wifi connection. We tried the Roasted Chicken Quarter Leg, Lomo Ribs, Roast Beef Sandwich and their Hot Cocoa. Each one of them are cooked and prepared to perfection. Maybe they can add a spill when collecting the bill to ask the customers how was their food to get some feedback. But overall, the whole experience was amazing.

Canto is probably one of the gatekeepers of the culinary legacies in Baguio City. Located in Kissad Road, I had an early dinner there today.
Upon scanning the menu, I chose the Cascade Salad, Roast Chicken Quarter Leg with Adobo sauce and Mashed Potatoes and Calamansi Iced Tea as my order.
The salad is composed of fresh iceberg lettuce, watermelon chunks, candied walnuts and drizzled with honey - mustard dressing. One word to describe it upon tasting it: SUPERB. Probably the best salad I had in my life. The greens are crunchy, the dressing has just the right sweetness and the candied walnuts is a pleasant surprise.
The Chicken is tender and juicy, the Adobo sauce elevated the meat into something heavenly and the mashed potatoes is luxuriously creamy.
Add to that, the interiors of the place is oozing with class and understated elegance. And the staff are courteous, attentive and professional.
This is probably my best meal to date in Baguio. Canto provided me with a wonderful dining experience. I will come back again in the future.

All in all a great place with great food and service. We arrived with a long queue but the staff did a great job of managing it and we were seated in about 10 minutes.

Ordered their lomo ribs and salisbury steak and they were delicious. Their menu was reasonably priced not to mention they used locally sourced ingredients. The ambiance was good and I recommend seating outside their main area. Parking is limited so I recommend going here by taxi instead.

Best fall off the bone ribs! :)
After a long day of walking and discovering Baguio, we decided to eat dinner here. It was actually my first time.

We all had the ribs. It was delicious, tender, saucy, tangy and really flavorful. The salad was interesting too.

Maybe next time I’ll try more of their food.

The resto location is very accessible. Easy to find however parking is a bit struggle, always a full parking space so u need to park far meters away from the resto area.

Resto ambiance is good, its clean, well lighted and ventilated.

Food is incredibly delicious. We ordered lomo ribs- very savory and tender juicy.
Cascade salad is perfect combination to balance the smoky aroma of the lomo ribs to fresh veg salad. Vignette plus the sweetnes of the peanut brittle savored on veg salad is a perfect combi.

Staff are courteous.

This restaurant served me a sumptous meal for dinner. The lomo ribs is very tender, together with the salad and mashed potato. Unfortunately, the kalye treats has already closed, this might be a separate business of the resto since it is paid separately. The servers are attentive, the ambience is great, and nice restroom.

Food: We tried their pumpkin soup, dynamite (a bit disappointing. No hint of spice and cheese. It was crunchy and meaty, though. I also didn’t like the dip. Just can’t take the taste of minty yougurt, they were so kind to give me ketchup and mayo instead), and the most famous lomo ribs with mashed potato and salad.

We went on a Saturday around 6pm after the Holy Week so despite being a peak month, the wait wasn’t long. Tourists probably were jampacked during the long weekend. I noticed a long queue after 7pm so better be early.

Staff are all kind and polite.

Traffic and Parking: The place is near the crossing so expect a bit of traffic jam. Their parking is limited to 4-5 cars, not sure if there are more at the back. If you take the cab from session road, it’s just about 70 pesos. You can also walk for about 15 mins if you pass through Burnham park.

Lunch around 1 PM on a Monday in December 2023.

There was a slight queue, approximately 30 minutes wait for some orders. Although I'm not much of a beer enthusiast, I tried a couple of locally brewed varieties from Baguio which I found good. The entire family relished all the dishes served. The staff seemed a bit occupied but still managed to provide good service. Conveniently located near Burnham Park. Highly recommended!

Overall rating: 4.76/5

The name does not do this place justice! It sounds like a carinderia, but the place is actually beautiful with several sections including an ancestral house at the back. In the main dining area, they planted interesting vines that crawl all the way to the ceiling! Very decorative and adds to the ambiance. Location is very prime and strategic. One can easily walk down to Burnham Park for a stroll after a full meal!

As everyone has written, the lomo rib is really tender and flavorful. A family slab can satisfactorily feed 5 pax. The Salisbury steak is also good. Given the choice between mashed potato and red rice, the former is much better bec the rice is dry and tough.

Dessert is ok. We had 3 diff kinds. The panna cotta lacks body. The s’mores is good. The chocolo is also ok.

Overall, an excellent experience! The only thing I would express a tinge of dissatisfaction about is the periodic whiff of street pollution that you would smell in the dining area facing the street.
