The beach is great for a quick retreat and letting time pass. This is not the place to go if you want white beaches, crystal blue waters, and luxurious accommodations. However, the beach is clean. Sand is dark. Yeah, it's black and magnetic.

I highly recommend this location for family gatherings and other special occasions.
They have a parking lot, several cottages, and clean restrooms.

Beaches are not really tourist spots in this side of the Negros Island. As a Negrense living in these areas, we have to drive hours to get to the best beaches our province has to offer. Balulan is our family's quick fix to a beach craving. It's not as far, it's clean and senior citizen friendly. We come on weekdays to avoid crowds.
