God The Father Of all Mankind Pilgrim Center

Visited the place to hear mass for the God the Father of all mankind feast with the family.
Such a good place for prayer and meditation.
Every 8th of the month pilgrims visit the place and celebrate mass and each pilgrims bring their own food.
Aside from the church, a museum is also available and a chapel near the God the Father groto. There is also a great view up on the hill.

Tip: there is a pond with huge fish at the back of the museum. Just go pass through the candle light place.

The God the Father of all Mankind Shrine is located in Brgy. Fatima Inabanga Bohol 58 kms from Tagbilaran City and about 1 hr and half travel time. Barangay Fatima is not along the highway, i guess its about 1km from the highway.

- has a large parking lot.
- network coverage is poor to none at all
- Bishop will officiate the mass during Its feast day
- there is a chapel up on the mountain
- there is a pond near the comfort rooms
- if you're into meditation or just wanted to find your self or wanna know your purpose, it is very possible to do it up there in the mountain overlooking the great view

The Story:
The Shrine started when a member of the Aboitiz Family dreamt of God the Father and was told in his dreams that he should build a Shrine of God the Father on top of a hill in the Province of Bohol, thus choosing barangay fatima. Accordingly, when the image of God the Father was about to be transported to Bohol a number of people tried to lift it but they couldn't do it. It is only Aboitiz (the man dreamt of God the Father) was the only man who was able to lift the Image.

( i am not 100% sure that the story is accurate, I will try my best to ask more pilgrims for accuracies and will update this).

My experience there was one of the unforgetable. We attended mass to celebrate God the Father's feast as well as my mother's birthday celebration. The inside of the Church is great and well illuminated. Many pilgrims go there especially on the 8th of the month coz it is Its special day. Most of the people who goes there bring food for lunch.

Beside the church is a mountain with a big God the Father grotto. And also in the mountain are the life size station of the cross. You can see there a birds eye view of the town, towns nearby, and of Cebu.
