If you love nature and swimming, you will love this place. The river is beautiful, with clear water and plenty of fish swimming. There are also food booths offering a wide variety of seafood dishes. We ate kuracha, shrimps, and seaweed, and it was delicious. Enchanted river is totaly a place worth to visit.

I’ve never seen water as crystal-clear as at Enchanted River. It’s teeming with colorful fish, and the water is refreshingly cool, making it perfect for a dive on a hot afternoon.
We took a boat trip cost 1500 every ride Maximum of 5 People with our friends to swim with stingrays. It’s worth it. The place is impeccably clean, and at the restaurant in the area, we enjoyed the freshest seafood we’ve ever tasted in our lives!
Make sure that you witness the fish feeding that they do every 12noon and 3pm. They play the music and all the variety of fish come out. Its about 15 minutes show where they recite poems and they would explain the reason behind it .It’s so nice to watch. Everything is magical.

the water was absolutely stunning; cold, clean and fresh.
my only complaints are the lack of respect for the serenity of the place from some of the visitors. we were lucky to be there, very early in the morning. i was able to enjoy the peace and beauty of the place.

Great place to go & chill out, take a swim in the crystal clear waters & cool down,
We did the 3x Island boat trip @ 500peso for the boat, which can carry 5x people, they don't tell you however that you have to pay entrance fees to visit the Islands when you get there!!
The fees are:-
Sipadan fish cage - 50 peso
Lodestone shores resort - 50 peso
Rock Island is - 30 peso

In my opinion, I would have preferred to skip the Sipadan Fish Cage Resort & spend more time at the Rock Island & Lodestone!!

The Enchanted River (El Río Encantado) is a must visit place in Surigao. The ticket entrance for an adult not resident in the area is 100 pesos. From the entrance, you may take a lovely 10 minutes walk to the enchanted river in a path though the beautiful jungle or you can take the free ride. On the way you can buy some souvenirs if you like it. Once you get to the place, you have comfort rooms and also a place to deposit your belongings if you want. At the entrance of the river you can have a free life vest. The river has an amazing blue colour. You can spend the time taking pictures or swimming. At 12 they feed the fish (look at the picture).
At the end of the river you can get on a boat for island hopping. It costs 100 per person and they bring you to a place where you can touch stingrays as see some sharks. Then you go to an island Lodestone Shores Resort with a small but beautiful white sand beach. After that, you go back.
It is not allowed food or drinks by the river. But you can go back to the entrance and eat there. You can bring your own food or buy some seafood there. You can also get some tasty 50pesos milkshakes.
Really Really recommend this place.

I always love to go to this place. It’s a long journey going there but place is worth it. I always get mesmerized with the very blue Enchanted River. Although you will not be staying for too long in the water due because it is really really cold. We also tried their island hopping and it’s all worth it. Just prepare your bank account to be ripped off because every location has its price and every service needs fee. Did I mention there delicious and different varieties of seafoods that are ready to eat? So yum! I always come back for the fried small shrimps.

After paying for entrance fee, you are offered to be taken to the resort with their vehicle. But you can also take a nice walk to immerse yourself with the nature on the way to the river. It's not that far. That way, you can stop by to buy souvenirs. As you arrive the resort, you're finally get to see how enchanting the Enchanted River really is. It's so blue in color that makes it captivating. Altho they closed the blue part of the river for swimming, you can still take pictures and swim at the spot where they allow.

Moreover, they have a lot of seafood, a bit pricey but its good to support. You can bring your own food tho, they are kind to allow you to sit by their tables. Also, their comfort rooms are well maintained. Well so far, everything is well maintained. Overall, this has been a good experience.

- Spacious PARKING SPACE
- Recommended to go there EARLY

You can swim on the shallow end of the river but the deep water is restricted. There are saltwater fishes as long as 1 meter but are completely harmless. You can watch as they feed the fishes every 12 noon and 3 pm so best go here before those times. There are eateries available in the area and are relatively cheap.

Clean, clear waters. A deep blue hole is situated before the portion of the river with floating bouys where bathing & swimming is allowed. There's a food park at the entrance site where fresh affordable seafoods & snacks are served. Food is not allowed in the resort proper. Fish feeding in the blue hole every 12 noon.

From the moment you pass under the trees and see the river itself, you can feel this calming presence that makes it truly enchanting. When I visited, some parts we're still under development to make the place more cozy and safe. ✨ It's quite sad tho that I wasn't able to do the island hopping, but surely I will the next time I visit this place.

You should visit this place! It is truly magical! The bluish/greeny color of the water is so enchanted. No wonder it is called the Enchanted River. Feeding of fish starts at 12noon and 3pm with background music playing. You should wait for it and witness the biodiversity into that river. One of a kind experience!

Went there on a long weekend so there were a lot of tourists. Parking area is a bit far from the site so you need to walk. Food and drinks aren’t allowed but there are restaurants near the parking area. There’s a designated area for swimming. Fish feeding schedule is at 3 PM. Entrance fee is 100 pesos.

Entrance fee 100 pesos as of June 11 2023.

If you want to go there you must have a service or car since the area does not have a public transpo and mainly relies on private or personal transpo.

If you will travel in Surigao area. This area must be in your top list to go. Very clear water. There are parts that can’t be swim in order to maintain the peacefulness of the fishes.

An iconic landmark that is a must visit!! The river is indeed an enchanting view. The water is so blue and clear and you must definitely take a quick swim in the designated area... so refreshing! The river has a view deck where is a bit crowded around 12 noon because the caretaker are feeding the fish but it was a good experience. Ticket is 100 pesos for adults, 80 pesos for seniors. Big parking area, you can take the free shuttle going to the river (less than 10 mins ride) or you can just walk. Seafood restos are located near the parking area, you wont find any "tindahan" near the river to maintain cleanliness. The seafood restos are very affordable.. we ordered pusit, shrimps, scallops, salad, drinks, a bowl of rice and shellfish good for 4 pax and spent only 1000 pesos. Will definitely go back again as tour guides said they also have island hopping and beautiful beaches in the area.

I must say that the once magical river I visited 6 years ago is still or more magical. It was very clean and well maintained. You can see the fishes and by just looking at it, the blue clear water is very deep. First thing to do is pay an entrance fee of 100 pesos per person. Afterwards you can park the car uphill. Go down the stairs and a food park or stalls would welcome you with their amazing choices of seafood. You would walk like 5 to 10 mins to the river. But before that, take a picture with the enchanted woman head statue. It is still ongoing construction and it is still not fully painted. You can go inside and show the ticket. You have an option to rent a life jacket so that you would be able to swim on the swimming area. The swimming area improved and it got bigger. Enchanted River is really living up to its name.

Enchanting, magical clear blue turquoise refreshing brackish water located in Hinatuan Island of Mindanao. You can’t resist dipping into the river. Don’t miss the fish feeding where you can see giant fishes. No need to worry about foods, a lot of vendors selling fresh seafood at a very affordable cost near the parking area.
What to bring? Bottled water, drying clothes and towels. Food not allowed in the river.

Place is well organized and maintained. If you arrive in your private vehicle, you should park at dedicate area, pay entrance fee (100 PHP, 50 PHP for locals) and take a shuttle bus. There are dedicated places for photo opportunities and other for swimming. Fish 🐠 feeding time is at noon. Close to the parking lot are simple restaurants serving mostly seafood 🦞
