Club Tara Resort Reviews

Had our anniversary celebration here. The view is superb, straight outta Disney movie.
One cons is it's location, need to pay P2000 for one way trip to the resort.
Food is good but can be improved. You should bring snacks, choices in the resort is limited.
Facilities should be maintained properly. Take note that the water coming from the faucet and shower is also saltwater. You'll be used to it as days passed.
Staffs are superb! They will do their best to accommodate you to the best of their ability.

The view of the islets and the sea is amazing, nature at its best. The food was homemade and delicious my husband and I enjoyed the chicken and pork adobo, as well as the fish and chips. Wi-Fi was decent despite the isolated location. The only downside is that they do not accept credit cards, so come with cash in hand to pay for everything. Also there is no stores or bank in the island so I recommend you to get some cash and groceries after you land. Looking forward to come back again!

One of a kind experience. If you're in Siargao and you have extra money, spoil yourself and book a night or two here. The boat rides might be expensive but in itself, the views they offer are astounding. The ocean floor looks mesmerizing especially on a fine, sunny day. The hotel room itself has some flaws. The weird washroom smell and the salty tap water when brushing your teeth (both from the water source, I think). But if you look past the minimal flaws, you can appreciate the place more. Since it's hard and expensive to get to, there aren't a lot of people. The place reminds me of Sugba Lagoon (IAO) and Big Lagoon (El Nido) combined, but more serene. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. I will go back for sure. I cried some tears when we were about to leave. Had fun paddleboarding.

Frankly, the place was still reeling from the devastation of Typhoon Odette when we visited. A great deal of the physical infrastructure is still damaged, and marks of destruction on some of the physical facilities can still be traced. However, everything was serviceable and the service is fantastic and nothing short of top notch. A few things they can improve on would be internet connectivity (we saw them installing a wifi setup, but it was unfortunate that they couldn't finish it on time before we left). Then there's the water problem where the pressure is too low for the shower to be fully functional (the lower tap has no problem though), and the tap water is also brackish. The room could also use a TV. Nevertheless, we think the absence of a TV in the room helped us relax, unwind, and unplug from the busy world better. Overall, my partner and I had a blast, we had a lovely and romantic stay. The scenery is picturesque and can be described as otherworldly beautiful. We absolutely recommend the place. Can't wait to revisit in the future when the resort has fully recovered.

I have never been at a hotel in the Philippines with that beautiful location, we had 6 fantastic days here. Staff is lovely, food is okay and the surroundings are just beautiful. If you need to slow down and have a break, is this the place for it.
