Bucas Grande

Beautiful island with almost no infrastructure for foreign tourists. No restaurants. It’s not possible to rent scooters. But you can easily get around with tricycles. The boat tour in sohoton cave is amazing. Go during breed season of the jellyfishes. Illuminated cave with underwater entrance is crazy. Recommend to speak local language. Reachable within 2h by ferry from Dapa, Siargao.

Been here twice and it never disappoints! I like the milky green-ness of the water and how you can go inside the caves. If you are feeling adventurous you can even jump off the cliff after climbing the rocks in the cave. The water is magical! Good place to just lounge and float around.
