Sip Sunset Lounge & Bar - El Nido

Ok so the main reason I really wanted to come here was 1) for the sunset and 2) coz of the owner. I've read his reviews and was keen to actually meet the guy... And it was a really lovely encounter.. actually didn't need to work too hard for it either!

Sunset here is just gorgeous hence the name! We were lucky enough to be in just an absolutely amazing spot so could watch the sunset and... People watch 👀

The service during peak time was a little slow and the nachos could have been fresher but... The people service, despite the rush happy hour gave us their time. The taco was quite nice, different type of bread which I loved. The drinks were very nicely done.

The vibe is just.... Vibes! Loved our time here. The waitresses were so cute and friendly. Loved them!

Our interactions with Bob (he is an absolute g 😄)and the owner were just wonderful.

The staff are all so kind and welcoming. They all learnt my name and use it every time they see me. They really made me feel like family. The beds are comfy and the air con is always a welcome relief from the heat. Bathrooms are nice and clean with good water pressure. The staff are constantly handing out free shots for those who want them, but never pressure you to drink if you don't want to. There's a happy hour from 5 - 7, where you get 2 for 1 cocktails. Plus the party is always very chill, so it doesn't impact you getting a good sleep. Excellent food and cocktails. The WiFi has been the strongest I've had in The Philippines. The atmosphere is fantastic and I have happily spent multiple days just relaxing at the hostel all day. The location is right on the beach, so the views are amazing even if it's raining. A little way out from the main part of El Nido, so you avoid too much hustle and bustle, but still easily within walking distance. The laundry was cheap and high quality; my clothes haven't smelt this clean for a while. They help with bike rental, island hopping tours and pretty much anything else you may need. I've extended my stay twice already and may even end up extending it again. I really can't give this place high enough praise. 11/10! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Nestled along the shores of El Nido, this beach bar is a true gem. Undoubtedly the best in town, it offers a breathtaking sunset experience. The cocktails are a delight. The music adds to the vibrant atmosphere, and the exceptional service ensures a memorable evening by the sea.

Came to Sip for Happy Hour on a friend’s recommendation. They start off with a free welcome shot on the beach! It was 2 for 1 (has to be the same type of cocktail) for 320 pesos. Atmosphere is amazing, excellent view of the sunset and good vibe. All staff were attentive and the drinks were delicious. Try the Blue Hawaiian!

A beautiful bar with live music and happy hour from 5-7pm.
Bean bags on the beach and a nice swing out the front. Bob is great and very friendly to guests inviting them to the bar. The live music adds to the great atmosphere. The cocktails are great!

Beautiful place. Didn't get food as wasn't hungry and eating is cheating and all that.
Deal with the flies until sundown and you have an amazing spot. Amazing view for sunset. Staff wonderful. Anthony I presume is manager/owner is a top guy.
Happy hour is decent price especially for 8 Long Island Iced Teas. ;)
Live music night I was there from Mike & The Wolf. WOW. THEY ARE GOOD.

Wow. Definitely THE PLACE to watch the sunset. Fun vibes, great music, and such a wonderful setting. From the owner meeting you on the beach to welcome you in, to the great service (and crazy good sunset happy hour!), it’s impossible not to like this place.

The drinks are very well made, especially the margaritas. We also tried the cosmopolitans (not on happy hour) and they were good.

There are a lot of places to sit but it fills up fast, so I recommend getting there a bit earlier. The only downside is people constantly getting up and moving, but it doesn’t take away from the magic of the evening.

Great selection and tasting drinks, service, food, atmosphere, and sunset, wow. Great vibes all around. If you're lucky you'll meet Anthony the owner mingling asking you to play guessing game for free drinks! Really fun selection of drinks! Nice and chill place to watch the sunset. Staff (especially ate Kae) is very helpful and friendly. There are welcome shots even before we decided to hangout here. Overall, great and friendly place with great drinks and food. Will be definitely coming back here in the next few days 😊

The place is fabulous definitely designed with intent and it works perfectly. The service from Wina and Tranks the bartender was great. Had a little side chat about the venue and life in El Nido. I'm a solo backpacker they didn't need to talk to me. The cocktails were great and I ordered food. It tasted amazing with the spicey sauce and peanut sauce. But just me on a personal note not a reflection of the menu. I wish it was more. It designed as a kind of tapas and sharing between couple but I'm a solo backpacker. Either way my experience was top notch. Not to mention the view...you can't beat it.

By FAR the best cocktail/sunset bar on the whole island. Perfect service, really sweet waiters and waitresses. We went there multiple times. Cocktails are served extremely fast they taste immaculate!!! Go there

Gorgeous place to have drinks with the sunset! Service was amazing, bar snacks delicious, the host Bob was so accommodating and friendly too. Would highly recommend.

The best location to enjoy sunset view and happy hour. Service was also perfect, especially thanks for KAE, she made our night special.
You can get buy one get one drink while happy hour until 7pm.

Everything was exceptional! Best place in El nido. The signature cocktails were great. Best spot to enjoy the sunset. Lovely music too. Never felt so relaxed at a beach bar before.
