Alright, this place is close to my heart and blood since this is where my dad grown up. Right down on this dam is where my sister's farm located (not developed). Pretty much saved our rice fields and gave us the need to water during planting season. The farm my dad owned got 80% irrigation from this man-made water reservoir, thanks NIA, PRRD in making this happened and now Governor. Not only that, this became hit on social media and a tourist attraction in the province, since its view is indeed spectacular. Speculators, visitors and guests from the neighboring towns and from other islands visits this awesome view. There is no entrance fee when you come by, but please make sure to bring with you a good snack or drink and dispose your rubbish properly.
We really wanted and planned last year to have a candle light dinner with my good friends and do grill and camp overnight. Many local tourists tried camping overnight and captured starry nights lighting! If you are in Bohol, you have to try for yourself and experience so you can tell too, ciao! By the way, this place is best place for families, recreation and friends and couples alike! Best time early in the morning and late afternoon.

A beautiful and chilling place. Good for a weekend road trip. A good place for sightseeing or even camping.

One of the best spot I have visited in Bohol. Benliw dam is truly mesmerizing. Almost a 5-hour drive from Tagbilaran city, the long travel is worth the beautiful view and the relaxing atmosphere. Hope to visit Benliw dam again.
