From sto. Domingo to anislag sarap ng milktea...

Black tea (Twinings) was flavorful. Same we can say about hot mocha and cappuccino coffees. Also waffles (blueberries, Nutella and blueberry cream cheese) we tried were tasty. Nice ambience. Good to chill out.

As we were on our way to an island resort in Albay, Philippines, we were in a bit of a rush but we had to grab lunch, so we avoided the usual city area food estabs. It was somehow challenging since we had certain preferences as we had with us a senior citizen and a toddler, with a bit of limited diet options. We were already at the brink of giving up as we were already just 20 to 30kms away from the port and we were already entering areas considered locally as "rural" when suddenly this food establishment appeared. Aesthetically the place looks on the upper average but our hopes were not really that high, we were just hoping to grab the most basic food options that we can get. From its name, our initial assumption is it's a coffee shop with limited food options, and for us we were ok with sandwiches and finger foods. Surprisingly they have rice meals, with vast options, pasta, and pastries. We ordered alfredo pasta, fish fillet and porkchop rice meals. The food taste verdict is at the upper average, but with their price, it was such an amazing find. But wait, there is still more! We tried their chocolate chip cookies, it's a box of 6 cookies at 120... It was AMAZING!!! And it was not just us. We had "to go" cookies, and those who tasted it were really surprise that there is this shop in the middle of nowhere that produces these great tasting cookies! Before we left the shop they were preparing boxes of these cookies, I'd say around 50 boxes. The next day, we dropped by the shop, planning to buy some more, to our surprise, they were out of stock. So, I guess it's not just us who found out about this treasure...

PS: I was not able to take pictures as we were really in a hurry and I was also busy taking care of a 2 year old...
