San Isidro Waterfalls

5 stars for how nice the falls are. Look for that yellow mushroom looking canopy seat on the San Isidro Elementary School road. Please be advisedly that this is a very treacherous walk. First a steep slippery pathway up and down but you can take your scooter if you have one. Then almost 400 steep slippery steps down. Then walk a little further and cross a rickety bamboo bridge. There was evidence off recent landslides down in the bottom. If you’re unlucky enough to be there when one happens it’s over. Then the majestic falls are tucked into a box canyon hidden around the corner. After you have your fill of them and your legs stop shaking front your decent you can begin to climb back out. Try not to collapse. Very serious warning, do not attempt this hike unless you are very physically fit and bring lots of water, preferably in a camelback.

It is worth the effort. It's unique and exotic. You can even see wild monkeys roaming around.
