Sunrise Pension House

I traveled alone arriving in this lodge first time last January 4, 2023. I was impressed with the outmost hospitality of Anna. From arranging my flight, room and island hopping tours to the sumptuous breakfast, it was exceptional service indeed that I am looking forward to be back again in Coron, Palawan. Clean, good price, excellent service, extremely helpful and very friendly owners. They will treat you like a family!

Been traveling to Coron since 2018. I've been to a multiple different stays in the place but its only in Coron Sunrise that I've felt at home and safe.

👍 Excèllent customer service. Personally managed by the owners, themselves. Very approachable and attentive to your concerns, at anytime.
👍 Scrumptous Food. You can request them to cook for your cravings and for your island hopping meal. Its beyond expectation which personally prepared by the "Chef" daughter-owner. It's superb👌
👍 Clean Room. You can assure that beddings were replaced every after each guest.
👍 Convenience. They can assist you for your tour either its island hopping or land tour. They also have Van for hire, in excellent condition and personally drove by the son-owner, himself.

Thus, in general its a great value of stay.

Great service Gloria took really good care of us. Always let us know when our shuttle arrived. The rooms are very reasonably priced. We got home cooked breakfast. And when our air conditioner went out she upgraded us to another room. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a reasonably priced room with exceptional service. I will be back when I come back to coron.

The place is good and the location too is great. The back portion is a sea near port area but it's not smelly nor dirty. Their rate already includes package tour and accommodation and the meals and snacks are also included during the tour but dinner meal is not. The owners were very accommodating and hospitable.

Very cozy and accommodating place! Feels like home away from home. Plus the did is absolutely amazing. I cannot stress this enough. The fix is absolutely to die for. Also the pace has its own port for easy access to the ocean with boats. Extremely convenient and affordable. No need to go to a dock or pier to get to the islands. 👌 Highly recommended 👌 💯

Its a great place to spend the holidays

Wir sind nach Palawan zu unseren Honeymoon geflogen. Die Gastgeberin, Frau Ana Acbang hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und auch jeden morgen beim Frühstück, was sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker war (Lutong Bahay)😍 mit verschiedenen Kleinigkeiten verwöhnt. Das Zimmer gut eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hell. Das Badezimmer auch sehr sauber und frisch. Sehr bequeme Betten. Die Lage schön und ruhig. Wir haben uns in der Pension sehr wohl gefüllt. Es war als hätten wir eine neue Familie gewonnen. Es war ein kurzer, aber wunderschöner Urlaub und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Ich würde es aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My Husband and I flew last Month, March 2023 in Coron Palawan to spend our Honeymoon. The hostess, Ms. Ana, gave us a very friendly welcome At Sunrise Pension House. They served lot of delicious Lutong Bahay Breakfast. 😍 The room was well furnished, very clean and bright. The bathroom also very clean and fresh. Very comfortable beds. The location nice and quiet. We felt very comfortable in the pension. It was as if we had gained a new family.
It was a short but wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back ( hopefully soon) 😍😍😍

Budget accommodation where you get what you pay for. In our case, a small room near the port so we could take a ferry the next day. We had a bed, towels, a fan and hot water. The bathroom mosquito net was broken. There was a dog inside the pension that wouldn't stop barking at 5am but I guess that was bad luck.

My boyfriend and I spend five nights in the Sunrise Pension House and were really happy about this choice! We had a clean spacious room with nice sea view, air condition and hot water. The staff was really hearty and competent when we needed help. We loved to have breakfast or just a coffee in the dining area of the pension since it offered a great ocean view. From this place it's quite close to the harbour where you can get picked up for islands tours. But visitors who want to have more nightlife, bars and restaurants close by should rather go closer to the centre since the Sunrise Pension House is quite far from that. However, my boyfriend and I where looking for a less touristic place to stay, so if you're also looking for a stay outside the touristic centre we can definitely recommend this pension. But if you attach high importance to a good wifi connection you will probably be disappointed of the poor wifi network at this place.
But all in all, we would definitely come back to this place!

Overall experience, not very good. Outdated and not clean. Basics lacking. Pictures on profile were deceiving. Food and hygiene, blue bottles flying over the food and some unpleasant smells at times. Near the sea but no access and won't dare to touch the water.
