Hotel Estrella

Stayed for 1 week and have tried the big room (3pax) and a double deluxe accommodation, both are ok, everyday upkeep. Shower Hot & cold both working well. Ordered menu from the restaurant all good. Buffet breakfast is served with limited choices but still ok, complete meal already with veg, meat, fish, fruits, coffee, juice and bread loaf.

I stayed here for 4 nights.The room I had was small but clean. The bathroom, as with the room, was cramped also. There is also a problem with having a hot shower so if you need it, you should request for a room with hot water. I encountered a power outage during my stay. But all these were outweighed by the very accommodating experience I had. All the staff were very courteous and always ready to greet you with a smile. They lent me an iron and board for free! The food was great, and there is a coffee shop at the 5th flr. They have wifi available on the premises of the hotel. A good restaurant, Calle Zaragoza, is beside the hotel. The museum is walking distance from the hotel, and it is near the airport. They provide airport transfers.

This hotel provides excellent service to their clients. They have a decent catering service compared to their competitors, and their restaurant, Meet the Shrimp serves delectable meals too. The rooms are pleasant too with freebies.

Been here for 2 days training. Staff are nice, they're always there to assist you. The location is easily accessible. Rooms and its service is superb, it has daily supplies of toiletries, water and coffee. On the hand, the comfort room where we are staying is not that spacious, and at night we can hear banging and dragging sound at the ceiling and outside our room, as if someone is trying to fix something.

So nice to stay. Wifi is super good , tv are in great signal. Aircon is cool , lights are good . beds are comfy and has hot and cold shower 😉... A must to stay for fiesta cause near downtown area , not really in the crowded place and loud places if you want to party but still want to sleep peacefully 😉

love the location, its along the highway and easy to find. its also very near to Sto. Niño Shrine and People Center.

room was ok (rm 505), its a bit dark as light in foyer was broken. towels and floor mat were a bit dirty. room was a bit small for 3 people but hey for 2500php for 3 with brekky, its worth it.

restaurant skye is only a few steps to our room, love their marinara pasta and the service is superb 🫰🏻

i love the veggie pinakbet in their buffet breakfast. reminded me of grandmoms delish cooking 🩷
i will definitely book again when i come back to Tacloban.

The hotel is good. The only problems I encountered are there are no phone services in the rooms during my 2 day stay. One of the rooms has a faulty heater for the shower. Some of the blankets are not properly washed. During my 2 days stay, one of the room have molds on the blanket and in the other room it has something hard that already dried also on the blanket.
But I love the service. There's a restaurant inside and the staff are friendly.

A very nice hotel with very very polite and attentive staff. The room rates are good, while the room was very clean and furnished nicely. The only negative was that there was no hot water. We had dinner at their restaurant; we ordered Tinola Isda, fried squid rings, chop suey, and their Korean BBQ ribs. All the food has very fresh ingredients and were very well cooked; very tasty. The restaurant staff is very polite and very attentive to your needs. The hotel also has a very nice complimentary breakfast. A very nice place to stay!!! Great job Hotel Estrella!

The place is cozy complete with basic amenities. Food is super, super awesome. Must try. The crew is very friendly. Overall, superb.

Restaurant had great food chef Jonathan deserves a raise. The staff are very friendly, great location the only downside is beds are small.

Great price for a very clean and excellent room. The free breakfast is a very good buffet. Custom omelets. Bacon and eggs. Fruits and juice. I was impressed with this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean rooms, good buffet breakfast and overall friendly staff. This is a business hotel so the amenities are no-frills. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. TV in room is LCD and has an in-room fridge.

Available amenities like cable TV, hot and cold shower, aircon, WiFi or Internet connection, toiletries are OK. I just hope they have more electric sockets; guests with a lot of gadgets to recharge will definitely need more especially for our room which only have 2 available sockets. Nevertheless, I was a pleasant stay. :)

Upon entering the hotel, you will already have an uplifting vibe based on the way the staff greets you. They would always be smiling and ready to answer your queries.

The rooms are spacious enough with aircon, TV, and Wi-Fi, which has a very superb connection, by the way. You may get an access to their reliable internet connection by asking the front desk for the passcode.

The function rooms have enough space for small conferences and gatherings.

It would have been better if every floor had an accessible public restroom.

They also have the coffee & bar area upstairs where both hotel clients and outsiders can get nice a view of the city.

The ground floor has a restaurant which offers delighting dishes.

Overall, a short stay in this hotel would not be enough. Given the amenities available, a client would simply want to reside in this place.

A soothing place for any events : trainings,birthdays ,wedding or any you want to celebrate, good dishes being served, good roooms with safety precautions indicated, complete and well placed treats such free slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste and even shampoo and soap, the staffs are very kind approachable and accommodating, they have skye thier where you can have your drinks and to relax too, they have also body spa, a big thumbs up to the manager as well

I would recommend this hotel. We stayed for one night (leaving Tacloban). Very clean, awesome friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is also not too far from the airport (10 min) so to me this is a must.

Statyed a number of times. Cozy rooms and wonderful buffet breakfast. Unli danggit. Skye coffee shop available at the 5th floor offers view of the city and cozy ambience. It gets crowded on weekends. Hope the hotel would offer a pool soon, an extra amenities for kids and kids at heart. 👍 to the staffs. It is also just a walking distance to various eats and the well-known Sto. Niño Shrine and Museum. Highly recommended!

Great customer service. Polite and smiling employees. Clean and modern rooms. Delicious breakfast buffet and skye cafe has good coffee and view. Amazing staff, rooms and service!
