Ipil Rotunda Obelisk

This unique high pillar is a prominent marker in Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

One of the most visited landmark in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. I took a picture and a selfie early in the morning. ☺

Ipil Rotunda Obelisk marks your arrival at the heart of the Municipality of Ipil. Built to commemorate the formulation of Zamboanga Sibugay Province, it features alibata writing, water fountain, and art sculpture. It reflects the cultural diversity of the province and its inhabitants.

During night time, the view has a different feature.

If you are traveling from Zamboanga city, this is a great place for stop overs (Gas, supplies, foods, Hotels etc.) Also great for night life since the establishments are not far from each other.

A perfect place to bring your family for a sumpteous meal... Wide parking space and located in a strategic area of Ipil... Come and visit this newly open fastfood and enjoy the place and food...

It was amazing lots of people and exciting to look at for many, would recommend going here.

This place found in IPIL Zamboanga Sibugay , IPIL rotunda symbolized the center or the heart of the Zamboanga peninsula region. This rotunda serve us the traffic regulator of IPIL. there are words written in alibata from of writing meaning Zamboanga Sibugay and the other side is the landscape of ang kinaiyahan meaning the divisity of Zamboanga sibugay in the main product of Zamboanga Sibugay

Awesome landmark, the surrounding area is clean making it a great place to take photos. I highly recommend this landmark to anyone visiting Ipil, especially for those interested in local history and culture. It was great to see that it's well-maintained and serves as a source of pride for the local community. I'm happy to see the Ipil Rotunda Obelisk still standing tall and proud.

i so love the beautiful marker. i really appreciate its baybayin characters which read sa-mo-bo-wa-no-ga si-bo-ga-yo (Zamboanga Sibugay)

The view is astonishing yet not perfect. But it is much of our pride and honor that this landmark is built. This marks the integrity and the culture of our province, Zamboanga Sibugay! It is not perfect as what we see but perfection is an ongoing progress. 👊💓🇵🇭💪
