The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is very new and everything was to a high standard, the room was luxurious and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows.
The restaurant served great food from breakfast through to dinner. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Badsbro is one of a kind luxurious - yet affordable hotel destination in the whole Zamboanga Peninsula. Spent overnight here in one of their family rooms and was truly an amazing experience. From a very comfy, clean and brand new blankets to extra ordinary room interior and amenities.

30th of June was my parent’s wedding anniversary. We parked smoothly at the hotel. I was hoping to treat my family on the dinner buffet but to my dismay, the buffet was unavailable as it was a Sunday. But the staff were so accommodating and very inviting so we opted to stay and went for the Ala Carte menu that was kindly offered.

We sat and ordered our picks from the menu. The hotel ambiance felt luxurious and at the same time, very peaceful. We felt like we had our own space to celebrate the occasion.

Food came swiftly. Every dish that we ordered was exceptional. I have been to restaurants with Michelin stars abroad but the food and the ambiance this hotel has, can compete. We tried their steak, and oh my Lord, it was perfectly tossed to the fire. The cocktails were so good too that clearly we were getting the value for money.

Above all this, what I admired most is the hotel staff. They did more than what their job asked of them. They had us at their very warm hospitality. Their smiles and the way they communicated sounded very, very smart. Kudos to those who greeted my parents on their anniversary before serving them the cake with candle I asked for — the way they did it was unexpected and truly giving 5 star hotel vibes. 🥰

Another thing I was very delighted about is that, I was surprised by the bill hahaha. I paid less than I expected with all the food that we had.

I hope this hotel flourishes and soar heights as the years go by - giving more job opportunities to people around the province and will continue the very positive service and hospitality they have shown us that day. Stopped in for a stopover. Coffee, chocolate and shake. A delicious cake, the bottom burnt. For 159 pesos? 😆 Nice atmosphere, great crockery. Large cups are very reasonably priced. Cakes are delicious in the display, taste has a slight "dirty kitchen" flavour. Conclusion: recommended. Normally 5 stars. Today I'm giving four ××××. Staff friendly, quick, courteous. I would first like to comment on the interior design of the hotel. The hotel gives a luxurious feel once you step inside. The interior is clean, modern, and elegant. However, given that the hotel is not officially open yet, there are still some things/amenities missing. Like the handrails in the stairs, hooks and mirrors in the bathroom, and their coffee bar. Also, the elevators are not yet functional.

I have only been into the 6 person bedroom which can be expanded to an 8 person room. The bathroom, again, is missing the mirror. The best feature of the room has got to be the thick mattress and comforter. Both provides comfort and relaxation that are not often experienced in the hotels/inns available in Ipil.

The only function hall available as of the moment is the one in the 2nd floor. Accordingly it can accommodate 300 pax, however, during our activity we have not reached 300 pax inside and people were already standing due to the lack of space and chairs. The great thing about their venue is the availability of their own led wall and their sound system is great too.

They have a coffee shop in the first floor, however, at the moment it is not yet available. The cafe served as our restaurant in the mean time while the proper restaurant in the 2nd floor is still finishing up.

The pooooool. The pool design is nice and it seems like they have a pool bar at the side of the biggest pool. I personally have not tried the pool but it looks good. There are 3 pools available. One looks like it is for kids.

Onto the food. The food is okay but my favorite menu of theirs is the soup. The soups never fail to make me go 'ay lami' 🤣 as for the rest, their fish option so far revolves around Cream Dory, which is not my favorite fish.

Now, the staff. The staff still lack training, which is understandable since the hotel is new and I believe most of them don't have much experience in hotel service. But I have to commend their being hospitable and welcoming.

All in all, I'd give BadsBrotel a 6/10. So far the best hotel in Ipil, but it is also the priciest one too.

The facility is new.
However, room 301 has poor rest room floor drainage. Filthy water patches remain in certain floor areas - near the lavatory and near the shower cubicle - after somebody has taken a bath.

Buffet price per head definitely not worth it. Very expensive given there were only few selections of food. Highly suggest to just order by the platter instead.

Communication with staff during booking was also not clear and they were not very considerate to understand guest's situation.
