Duran Pool & Guesthouse

Our family’s stay was fantastic. The owner was responsive of our concerns and easy to communicate with. The rooms were spacious and has complete toiletries. The facilities, including the pool and kitchen, were excellent. No need to bring for kitchenwares and it is also good that they have a store outside of the resort.

I highly recommend Duran Pool and Guesthouse for anyone looking for an affordable yet elegant private resort. I can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Duran Pool & Guesthouse. The pool is very well-maintained and clean. The rooms are comfortable and clean as well. Duran Pool and Guesthouse provided the perfect setting, they offered a spacious layout perfect for our family activities. Plus, the pool was amazing, it lit up beautifully at night, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The hallway lined with plants added a wonderful touch, making the entire place incredibly Instagram worthy. The owner was responsive and everything was clean and well-equipped. The WiFi connection was a huge plus!

Budget friendly resort

Cool and nice place

This resort should be at the bottom of your list if you're finding for a great place to enjoy your vacation. Customer service is worst, how they treated us is not acceptable! One of our colleagues was also locked inside the room due to broken doorknob. During our first night at 10pm, we were advised to stop using the karaoke and the pool due to policy and time limits which we understand and so we complied but the unacceptable thing was, we were still having a drink at the poolside and one of their helpers turned off the lights, SO RUDE! And here's what triggers us the most, we hadn't checked out yet, but the owner let other guests to use the pool and karaoke which technically, still under our bills!

So disappointing. The owner said its private yet they will accept new guest even if its not your check out yet and for someone who doesn’t keep their words, they will rush you to check out already. Stay away with this kind of resort as they are so good in making you feel that you will be accommodated perfectly but when they accept your payment, they will demand you of things that shouldn’t be since you have paid for it, also there is alot of hidden charges that you have no choice but to pay for it. Also the caretaker is rude! When we asked why they already accept new guest, they say they booked first before us! Like? If that’s the case then why would they accept our book?? So unreasonable! To anyone who plan to choose this resort, you’ve been warned! It’s up to you if you wanted to be ripped off by this kind of resort. And also, we are are very keen in following and respecting the rules but its just too much! I don’t see the point of why we were treated this way! So dissapointing!!!

Actually the pools and rooms are great however we are upset because of the rude caretaker and to the point that we made a reservation from 2pm to 12nn however it's only 9am when they accepted the next Guest so technically our reservation time was not finish yet but the other guest already occupy the pools and videoke. Morever there are hidden charges as well like the kitchen fee and cleaning fee.

This is not a private resort. The owner let someone use the pool even though it is not checked in time yet. We paid for videoke but someone used it. The caretaker is also rude.
