Awesome coffee and delicious cakes. If you are looking for a coffee shop in Catbalogan that offers coffees that taste like the popular coffee shops like Starbucks then this place is for you. The ube mango flan cake is really delicious. It’s very unique so I highly recommend it. The staff are nice too and the place is cold.

It has been decades since I last stepped in Catbalogan. Was pleasantly surprised that a coffee shop like King Bean, serving real coffee and good food is now existing in this place.
Tried their Clubhouse sandwich with Mojos on the side for Php170 - good size, great taste, for a good price. Their Cafe Americano, King size is reasonable for Php110. Iced cappuccino, king size, Php120. Not bad, not bad at all if you're comparing it to prices in Manila! They also serve different cakes, cookies and pastries. There's a free wifi, but you can only use it for 1 hour. Be warned though that internet connection and phone signal in Catbalogan is unstable and poor. So if you're trying to do some work here at King Bean with your laptop, leave your work behind and just enjoy your coffee.

I like King Bean Cafe very much, not just because of it's great coffee, but the environment of the place, plus it's my favorite place to chill, work and study. It's a must visit cafe in Catbalogan City!
