Kanin Baboy

Amazing pork, best I’ve had in phillipines so far!!! Came for lunch, sit upstairs in the air conditioning! You get a lot of bang for your buck here and won’t come away hungry! Soup was delicious and full of the pork too. My partner had the chicken which was rolled with herbs and spices and fried to perfection! The rice and green beans in coconut milk are fantastic too! If you like a good hearty meal at an affordable price give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed! 10/10

So good we ate here twice during our 5 day stay! Plus, we even took home a slab of pork belly home because we couldn’t get enough. Possibly the best and crispiest pork I’ve had. I am salivating at the thought of it from miles away. Definitely a must try. The spicy sauce is to die for.

We had lunch here twice during our 6 day stay! Absolutely loved it, the kinilaw was nice and fresh, every component of the special was delicious, and the lechon so crunchy! They also have non- , and air-conditioned rooms, also good for bigger groups.

One of the most flavorful lechon meals I’ve had! The green chilis on Kanin Baboy Special was not available, so we only had the regular one. Still real good tho! The lechon was packed with lots of flavor. It’s marketed as spicy, but it’s so-so for me.

The lechon sinigang was a bomb! It’s a blast of flavors. The broth is red and viscous (probably from lots of tomatoes and tamarind) which I liked. As you can see on the video, lechon is so crispy even in a soup!

Definitely one of the must-visit restos here in Siargao 💯

The skin is soo crispy! This was marketed as spicy lechon, but the spiciness level is just okay. If you like turmeric, i think that's what they stuffed in the pork belly, but not a fan. Still very good tho!! The dish that ican never forget is the sinigang!! I swear their sinigang is soo comforting, and unique! It's like they used a blender to get the flavor of the tomato.

Not to be missed when you're in Siargao! The Spicy lechon is soooo good! The skin is still and so crispy! Its tender and tasty!

I ordered the plate where there's plain rice, spicy lechon, veg (gising gising) & a stick of bbq which taste so good too!

The veg (cant remember if its gising gising) goes well with the pork and rice! While the bbq is not a normal filipino bbq but more on middle eastern taste which i like! ♥⭐

Would definitely go back here and reco to other friends who'll visit IAO.

Amazing food! My husband and I were here on vacation and this place was recommended by our resort, when I asked for good Filipino restaurants. Did not disappoint. The spicy lechon was so good. Served with bbq chicken kabob, rice, and cooked green beans. Got a pitcher of the sweet tea as well to share- chef’s kiss.

Not enough Filipino restaurants in Siargao get the attention they deserve. The food here is fabulous.

The portion was so big I couldn’t finish even when I went in starving. I got the special plate and loved every component in it.
P/s. It’s quite a heavy meal so I would recommend it as lunch, all in all would highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection with heaps of flavour. It was very quiet when we went for dinner, I think the vibe is probably better late at night.

Surprisingly really good! It is very similar to Babi Guling, we loved how spicy (but tolerable) and tender the lechon was.

The spicy lechon is legit - Definitely one of the best I've had. The flavour and spice level of their chilli sauce was just right. Highly recommend.

The go-to place in Siargao if you’re looking for delicious lechon and its variants and other pork dishes, plus a selection of other Filipino dishes. It has a relaxed vibe and visited not just by Filipinos but I saw some foreigners wanting to explore with their palate. Food is affordable and the crew were very pleasant.

When craving for pork, I could not think lf a better place than Kanin Baboy Siargao.

Kanin baboy special is a must! The glistening lechon belly, crispy and meaty, paired with the hot & spicy beans is a pleasure to the palate.

Normally Mang Tomas makes the food taste better but their Lechon Kawali does thd opposite. With or without it though, their Lechon Kawali is a close second to my favorite dishes here.

As for side dishes, I'd definitely go for their monggo beans & lechon sinigang. Makes me want to order more rice.

This place is underrated?! It was very quiet everytime we pass by.. we are not sure why as the food was good! Maybe it’s the location of the place since it is near the end of GL street. We ordered their special & it didn’t disappoint.

Go for the special, it’s a good introduction dish. So good I went back the next day and had it again!

One of my favorite meals in Siargao

Hands down my favorite meal I’ve had in the Philippines after 10 days in the country and I’ve had a lot of really good meals. Reminds me of Babi Guling from Bali. If you’re a pork belly and/or chicharrones fan, then this is a 100% must eat place for you. I had the Kanin Baboy Special and I’ll be back to get it one more time before I leave in a day!

Ordered Lechon Kawali + Lechon Sinigang. Amazing taste. That cilantro in the sinigang is 🧑‍🍳💋. The lechon meat in the sinigang was also still very crispy. The place looks neat and clean. Service was fast. Aircon @ the 2nd floor. Ticks all the boxes. ✅

Food here is great. We have tried several dishes but my favorites were the Sinuglaw and Ginataang Kalabasa, so tasty and yummy!!

Absolutely the best food in Siargao if you are craving for Bali style roast pork. In fact, better than any roast pork I tried. Ever. Highly recommended.

Fresh kinilaw and delicious monggo kalabasa with curry. Service needs improvement. Too slow and not attentive. Food absolutely worth it!
