Gigantes Hideaway

I enjoyed here a lot..
I love their pool.
The view was great. All rooms were clean.
The staff is very accommodating... I love Also the foods... A perfect getaway to Gigantes Island, if you're planing to go there.

Located at the tip of North Gigantes Island, this is one of the most tranquil places to stay. The seafood is fresh and cooked just the way you like it, and the customer service is superb.

Wonderful view, delicious foods, friendly staffs and decent rooms. Great experience for a get away vacation. Though signal is hard to find.

I loved the food there & the wonderful islands hopping. the bathrooms needs some upgrades and some pest control in general. Thanks for the very warm hospitality.

Gigantes Hideaway Tourist Inn is located in Asluman, Gigantes Norte while its Resort is in Bulubadiang Island.

Recently stayed at this place. Direct booking from one of the owners. In fairness, we all are looking for a decent income. But at the end of the day, being in hospitality myself we want our guests to have a beautiful experience during their stay.

So I won't beat around the bush. The room my partner, infant son and I were put in, was awful. It was everywhere. Which made the allergies to damp and mould I already have, even worse.

A room for 1,500 pesos? It was a complete rip off as there was nothing to commend it. See the photos for yourself, attached below.

The floor tiles just outside the bathroom door were lose and worse, several were severely cracked, so they were extremely dangerous as one had to be very careful not to slice one's toes on what was effectively, slithers of glass. We had to improvise and cover them up with rugs.

The bathroom stunk and no toiletries were provided, not even soap or tissue paper. Luckily, we had brought our own personal toiletries with us. The window on the bathroom could not close so there was always the possibility of mosquitos coming in.

As a tourist guide myself. And I definitely won't recommend this place to my guests. The worse aspect for my family and I was how no repairs or maintenance has been done to the room we have, for seemingly a very long time. We certainly will not ever consider a return to Hideaway until such issues have been addressed.

The resort is far from the beach front. Plus there's no signal coverage on the area. Other than that, their rooms are so hot in the afternoon and they don't have any aircon rooms available.
