The old plantation

Definitely the best place to eat in Anda. We came for dinner 3 nights in a row.

If you want to come for dinner, you will need a reservation. The first night we came we were turned away at the gate since we did not have a reservation. The other 3 nights we came there was always tables available so not sure what that is all about. You can text them to make a reservation. See the picture with the sign for the phone number.

We enjoyed the sea food, the fresh reef fish was done well as was the whole grilled fish. Breaded shrimp were good and nice size portions of them.

Pad Thai was the best I've had in the Phillipines, and came with lots of shrimp.

The tom yum soup broth was good.

The mango shakes were decent but not the best we've had.

Apple crumble dessert was nice.

The best restaurant in anda, the food is marvelous the service is great, and is completely diferent from anywhere eles around.

We didnt stay at Island View Resort but went to the old plantation resort restaurant for lunch and drinks as they accept walk ins. The decor is a bit confused in my opinion - a tavern/ranch crossed with sea themes, bulols and fake parrots in cages. They also play nonstop cowboy themed songs. But the surroundings are nice with a nice view of the beach, toilets are clean, food is good and service is accommodating and friendly. They accept card (visa or mastercard) payments. They also have a sunset happy hour. They have a roofless smoking dining area. Beware of the road here though as it’s extra rocky and muddy - felt like the tricycle was about to stop at any moment. We were actually staying at Casa Amihan and we realized during low tide late in the afternoon you can actually walk to the Old Plantation, saving you 150-200 pesos for a one way tricycle 😊

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION within the Island View beachfront resort. We loved the details....for example: u get some spicy nuts or a iced glas for the beer. Something we didn't find in Anda (just here). The food is also good the stuff is lovely and also the owner is super. We can recommend the fresh springroll or the sesame crusted shrimp (see pics). For the main dish u have a lot of options. From pasta ... seafood ... or all kind of local dishes. Pro Tip: the resort has also a watchtower, which u can go up for sunset. What do u need more? Right now the Anda area still desn't have much tourists... so don't be afraid to eat there, if nobody else is in the restaurant. Been there 12th June22.

Great place to come for drinks and food, highly recommend. We have been there three times (so far) and this is my go to location for a relaxed enjoyable dinner while in Anda.

I cannot even say how big part of our holiday you were! Beautiful facilities of the restaurant, but especially so friendly and easygoing atmosphere, like at home (thanks to all waitresses and also the owner Peter). And the meals...If I wanted to recommend you travellers something, I couldn't choose. Our lovely dish was Banana Turon, but everything was just brilliant - a big compliment to cooks. Also there are many meals for vegetarian - unusual. Once we had a dinner in an another restaurant and we quickly came back. Maybe you may wait a bit longer for your meal, but you find out how nice is to be among so pleasant people and to have a relaxed chat while driking wine. You again showed us how big mistake of Europe is always to be in rush. You showed us a part of paradise. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

How can I even start to rate this beautiful restaurant. We came across this resto when we were in Anda looking for a nice place to dine on our first night in the area, the place was empty when we arrive but the food was delivered impressively delicious. We started our sunset with cocktails, then appetizer and mains. We are satisfied with food, service and the owner was super nice too. We just plan to stay in Anda for a night, but after this dinner we extended our stay and book a room in their hotel. My next review will be at Island View Beachfront Resort. Never had a 5-star service in Bohol like this resto. Highly recommended dishes are Fresh Spring roll, Sesame Shrimp, Apple Crumble, and Carbonara, they also have an exquisite selection of wines too! 💯

I fell in love with this place. The servers were so kind and accommodating. The food was surprisingly delicious and the view was breathtaking. I can't wait to go back and bring my family with me. 😊

The food at the Old Plantation is SENSATIONAL. A mix of Filipino, Thai, and western cuisine, all beautifully executed. The chicken satay was perfectly spiced, delicious and tender. My first introduction to kinilaw (like ceviche, but with coconut milk) was bright and fresh. The tortang talong (imagine eggplant given a French toast batter) was a real winner, and something I'll try to emulate at home. The staff are friendly and deliver great service, the G&Ts are strong, and the cocktails a nice treat. Highly recommended -- you'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful setting on all of Bohol.

Excellent food, a nice variety of dishes, very reasonable prices, friendly and awesome service. Decent wine list as well. Very pleasant location. Highly recommend this place!

This is the loveliest place in Anda. We ate three meals a day here for a week and enjoyed truly every meal. Grilled seafood was always done well, drinks were always delicious, and it was a delight to have old country music during the afternoon and jazz at night. I can't wait to come back.

The view is amazing, good music and good wine (happy hour from 4 to 6pm). Very nice place to watch the sunset with a good glass of wine!

We had lunch here and the food and service were first class. It’s a lovely location too.
Prices are very reasonable and the portions were a good size.

Beautiful restaurant! We found this place on google maps on our first night in Anda.
You really have to trust the map and follow the road through as it is quite bumpy and very out in nature.
But you’ll be rewarded with a lovely restaurant with a nice ambience, very tasty food and lovely staff! Thank you for a tasty meal!

Every meal here was wonderful. The staff were excellent and so incredibly helpful. We did look at other restaurants / menus and this restaurant was the best. We looked forward to every meal and probably had our favorite food on our entire trip at this restaurant. The only thing was the music..sometimes it didn't seem to fit well with the atmosphere of looking out over the beautiful grounds with a delicious meal.

We had three amazing dinners at The Old Plantation. We were staying a Three Little Birds and walked over. The food (especially the mango float dessert) had us coming back each day! Peter the owner is a gentleman with great hospitality. They accept Visa and mastercard which is a bonus too. Highly recommended!!

Stayed in Anda for two days and went to this place twice. The food is phenomenal! Do yourself a favour, go there and order everything!
