Chitral Gol National Park

The National Park is located at a significant height than the rest of the district, and therefore provides picturesque views of the entire valley. While observing the valley from such an elevation, one can denote how the Hindu Kush range is almost interconnected, with one mountain intertwining with another, which adds to the overall charm of the place.

Apart from the views of the valley that the national park offers, the Jeep ride leading up to the destination itself was absolutely magical, where one experiences snow, sand and vegetation in a singular frame. Once you reach the top of the National Park you are acquainted with spectacular mountains on all four sides, and apparently there is a trek of around 3-4hrs present once you reach the top which most people are unaware of (even we ourselves got to know about it after leaving).

If ever in Chitral district or passing through, spend a day at the national park and put your mind at ease under the auspice of natural beauty.

The drive to the park features a winding, rocky dirt road, so be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride. That said, the rising altitude affords spectacular views of a sweeping landscape. From Chitral City nestled in the lap of the surrounding range (keep an eye out for the airstrip!) to the grandeur of rolling mountains reaching towards shockingly blue skies - scenic is the word I'd use.

The park itself features delightful trails for the more adventurous (sturdy shoes are a must) as well as secreted nooks for picnicking. It tends to get chillier towards the evening so dress accordingly.

Definitely a place which is a prime example of the breathtaking beauty of our Pakistani landscape. Stunning!

Very Well naturally preserved National Park. It offers amazing views and nice camping facilities at campsites. If you are lucky, you might even witness Markhors here..

Wild life park having markhor white snow leopard and lions.2915m high is amazing and worth visiting for adventerous people. Amazing scape which changes as you move forward.

Apart from being National it is a Natural Park. Situated at height of more the 10000 Feets, It is home to some endangered species like Markhoor, Snow Leopard etc. The boundaries of this national Park are connected with Garamchashma, Kalash Valley, Afghanistan and Chitral town. It is open for public and there is a guest house if you are willing for night stay.

If you are a tourist and visiting Chitral then you should add this place on top of your list of must visit places in Chitral!

wow. what a breathtaking views I ever seen while my visits to Northern areas of KPK since my childhood. I traveled alot on dangerous routes in hilly areas but for the first time i frightened very much. There is forest rest house with only two bedrooms. you have to book the rooms before planing the visit if want a night stay or you can opt for camping. In either case bring food with your self enough for you stay. beautiful walking tracks and lush green mountains. There is a view point where at night you can observe the sounds of waterfalls from far sighted glaciers. That music will take you to another level and when there is full moon then it becomes a life time experience. I recommend a night stay with pre booking in the forest rest house. You will remember your stay for life.

Birmoghlasht has an elevation of 2743 meters (9,900 feet) and is 15 km (9 miles) away from chitral city. This mountain top towers over the Chitral town and worth visiting in this area is the fairy-tale summer palace of the Mahtar of Chitral (ex-ruler) perched at a height of 2743 meters (9,000 feet). It offers awe-inspiring views of Trichmir and panoramic vistas of the valleys below. Road on few places is so narrow that make you think twice to move forward your vehicle. Any mistake here would be be the last thing.

Lovely place to have a day out. Having bbq or any other type of picnic on top of the hill accompanied by superb views of snow topped peaks would be awesome!!!

Chitral is one of the Best places of Northen areas which is located in Khyber Pakhtoon Khuan. Chitral is the best place and tourist city in Pakistan because of its natural beauty and spectacular sceneries, it has beautiful lakes, rivers, and pleasant weather that are the key to the attraction of eyes. In Chitral you are allowed to climb the mountains and do trekking activities, It is a wonderful Place you will enjoy a lot there its like heaven on earth.

The biggest and the best national park in district Chitral, deep able 4x4 drive road at the top of Chitral city North West. The park has lots of biological plants and also have some great species of animals as well. I went there many time on my heavy bike, deep and as well as via tracking and hiking. It is half hour drive from Chitral Bazar.

So beautiful, scenic and accessible on ab adventurous drive providing jaw dropping views of Chitral town, Riverside and airport. Highly recommended.

This place is incredible to visit in the month of may, June and July. I wish to show you more content about this place in the future, you will be amazed by the hidden lovelinesses which are waiting for you to visit and see the beaity.
