Manthal Buddha Rock

An ancient attraction from Buddhist times near the city centre of Skardu. I usually go to this rock because it's close to my house. The sound of the water stream following near the rock will relax your mind.

Just to look at the historical landmark situated in Skardu city, hike for 3.3 km from my hotel, most beautiful places specially while Crossing under the beautiful trees of apricot, water fall & the beauty of the mountain surrounded by the place, historical landmark of budiest community long ago. I highly recommend it if you have ample time in Skardu.

900 century archeological master piece for tourist whom love with heritage

Its a historic place. Which depicts the era of budhha at baltistan. There are words carved on the stone in some ancient languauge.

An interesting piece of history, and it was made much more interesting and enjoyable by the local guide giving a short tour.
