This Stadium was built during the tenure of second DC (Deputy Commissioner) of Bhakkar District
Mian Muhammad Jamil
24 September, 1984 to 19 August 1987
So this Stadium got named after him.
(First DC was Chaudhary Riaz Ahmad, 1st July, 1982 to 23 September 1984)
Basically it is a football ground well maintained by local football enthusiasts with financial assistance of local administration.
But it is frequently used for jogging & walking by local community
I walk almost daily over there.

one of the old play ground in bhakkar city and also a famous the first play ground is Mela play ground where spring festival held. And the second is jamil stadium , In jamil stadium many program held like in the month of Rabi Ul awal religions program held here and also in the evening volleyball ,cricket ,football and many other games young boys played here
