Cafe Thar - Mithi, Tharparkar

An awesome place to visit, especially in the rainy season. They serve fresh thari food including chibhar, singri, khumbi etc. We had breakfast there. Paratha with different pickles and tea, everything was super delicious. They also sell cultural handicrafts.

It's a very calm, clean and adorable place right at the highway on by pass mithi.
It gives loving look in night time.
You will be served tea in pyalas, cradles for elders, and for kids of two kinds as I have shown in photos.
For photography it's good in day time specially in sunset time.
There are separate places for family and non family customers. Mineral water is also available, further rates for meals are also normal, well its a loving place.

One of the best food I have ever had in mithi. Food quality was fine. Taste was excellent. Chicken handi was delicious.

Summer 2007. My maternal side of the family had planned a vacation in the eastern Sindh and we ended up stopping at this particular cafe before exploring the desert and the fort ruins in the blistering heat. I'm gonna be completely honest though, but I can NEVER forget the tasty chicken karahi I had there served with freshly-baked naans and super-chilled, creamy lassi to top it all off! I am not sure how much it has been changed in 16 years, but I still remember the desi desert setting of being served at those chaarpaais (lit: four-legged structures) and eating together with the family. I'm really glad to see this place being on Google Maps, really hope it gets featured someday. The only gripe? The place was too hot, but despite the architecture, you couldn't blame anyone because of the temperatures there.

They offer all variety of food. They are experts in Thari dishes. It is indeed Don't-Miss-That-place type of place.

The Best place to be at for dinner in Mithi Tharparker... Couldn't believe at such a remote location, they could have so nice food, ambiance, music, traditional stuff and quality service together....

Only drawback is that it is some 8km from city and no other option to reach there than personal car.

Good chai, beautiful sitting space
A hint of art and history can be seen, they also have a hall of fame where reknowned places and people are displayed on the wall to teach the tourist about their history and places to visit, they also have a mini museum showcasing the history and culture of the area.

A wonderful place to taste local Thari delicacies. All dishes are prepared to perfection and have unique taste. A must try for anyone visiting Mithi Thar

This is very unique cafe and have variety of traditional Thari cuisines and modern fast food range: pizza,chicken rolls.

It's place that you feel like home and you are feel traditionally siting area in night on the floor with corpet and you see the tools of daily using in thar tea serve in steel bowl

Cafe Thar is like an oasis in the desert. I have been there so many times and every time I go the food is so delicious and an exquisite ambiance.
