Great picnic spot. Gets crowded on weekends, would recommend visiting during spring or autumn season to get best colors in water.

Nila Sandh is a Waterfall near Islamabad / Rawalpindi. It is 40kms away from Islamabad. One can easily reach there from Islamabad within 2 hours by car.
The waterfalls are covered by the greenry, tall trees and beautiful green mountains. The Waterfall is short in height bit the water is blue in stream however in rainy season waterfall gets muddy.
The waterfall is very deep and life jackets are recommended for those who can not swim. Life jackets, shirts and trousers are available there on rent.
There is a hotel and a rest room too, you can book the room in advance and enjoy the facilities.

Nila Sandh is a wonderful place to visit for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, with plenty of natural beauty to explore. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing. The beaches are stunning and there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied, from snorkeling and kayaking to sailing and fishing. The accommodation is comfortable and affordable, and there are plenty of attractions to explore, such as the ruins of ancient temples and the stunning waterfalls. Overall, Nila Sandh is a great place to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend!
