Amazing castle that was beautifully restored after the destruction during the second World War. The rooms are beautifully decorated and show the multifaceted use of the castle over the decades. The audioguide gives you a lot of information about the different paintings and exhibits. However, the information is very much detailed without giving you the big picture first. Nonetheless the Royal castle is worth a visit, especially on rainy days. It makes sense to buy a ticket in advance since you will only be able to enter during a specific timeslot.

Lovely place to get lost when is raining or snowing… on the ground floor you have a nice art collection where you can see couple of Rembrandt jobs… silver, jewellery, guns etc, the upper floor the rooms are so beautiful like the chapel, the king throne room, the conference room. Highly recommend to visit this place . There is a coffee area and restaurant if you are hungry, cloakroom is available. Toilets are available on the ground floor. Tickets cost £15 you can pay with card and cash. All is written in polish language, people don’t speak English.

Wonderful Poland's 🇵🇱 Royal Castle 🏰

I had an amazing time with my eye witness of the Royal Castle!

Very good location from each corner of the Warsaw City.

If you have interest in History, you may visit earlier time where you may read all the Footnotes of each room of the Castle.

Also it will be good to take someone who has interest in photography to help to take photos of you!!!

Have a great time!

The Royal Castle in Warsaw has a long and difficult history behind itself. Partly because of this history, it deserves special respect and closer look at its fate. The castle was built in the Baroque-Classicist style and currently serves as one of the most important representative buildings in our country. Although it looks very economical from the outside, inside the interiors are stunning, bursting with splendour. The castle rooms have been restored with great care and precision.

It’s selling timed ticket so it’s better to get the ticket in advance a day before during weekends. The castle was rebuilt just like most items we seen in Warsaw. Encouraging by how Polish people preserve their art and history while endanger by war.

The amount of information presented was impressive. Also liked some of the discussion as to was is original and reproduced. Plan some time to take it all in. I thought it would be a quick tour and it ended diving in real deep with the recorded audio.

I must admit, the exterior of this place felt kinda underwhelming before i went in, but boy, was i wrong.

It is really beautiful and definitely worth the visit. In addition to a museums worth of art and artefacts, the state rooms were alone worth the visit. The whole place is meticulously maintained and taken care of. I would recommend not forgetting the audio guide because it provides lots of useful and interesting information about the place.

I really love this kind of stuff, and this place did not disappoint at all. Also, the ticket price of almost 6€ is almost nothing for the hour something i spent there.

An amazing collection of arts in the gallery! I did not follow the “royale route” as I have seen way too many palaces, but the paintings of Rembrandt are worth the ticket already.

The audio guide is inactive and sometimes the content does not match the painting.

It's a must see in Warsaw, very impressive.
The exterior is misleading, you don't expect much of it from the outside, but it will certainly exceed your expectations.

This is the most famous landmark in Warsaw you shouldn't miss to meet and absorb their long time history which hides each brick in their architecture building.

Although most of the buildings were destroyed from World War II but we can significantly watch how the sacrifices of Polish people tried to rebuild them as similar as their old ones again.

Moreover I've visited at Christmas time so I'm impressed by their decorations on the Happy New year theme. There are many cute views to take beautiful pictures.

However I felt that both souvenirs and food & beverage prices are horrible high so their inflation seems to be worried because only some tourists can buy.

Maybe their Government should revise thinking again to please and welcome tourists more I hope so.

We visited here on Wednesday. It is free day, no need to pay. But you should wait at least 1 hour for entrance on wednesdays. Other days no need to wait but it is not free. Tha palace is great. You need at least 2-3 hours to visit all rooms.

This castle does not look like what you would normally expect a castle to look like but it is still a stunning piece of architecture and a really large building to walk around. During Christmas there is a nice tree making it festive and the surrounding area is very lively and busy.

Great place to learn about the royal history of Poland! There's plenty of museum workers who were helpful. Being handicapped, I was able to ask to use the elevator with no issues. Definitely grab the free audio tour guide if you're not part of a group. The adjacent gardens are beautiful and well kept. You even get to see a robotic lawn mower prowling about! Great way to spend a few hours!

We did not manage to visit it inside, but even from outside, the place and the atmosphere are fantastic. It really worth it, even during the evening.
