It's a great zoo for a fee hours stroll. It has great Polish fauna expositions, especially lynxes, bisons, and birds. You can also find a lot of exotic animals like tiger, crocodiles, lizards and more.

It is well kept, clean with a cafe shop, souvenir stalls and candy floos stand! Fantastic day out for the whole family that is not going to ruin your budget.

Great place for a family walk

I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. It is not the biggest zoo around, but it has a great spirit and keeps modernizing. Aquarium/terrarium has a variety of exotic animals and tiger enclosure has a magnificent view from the top. Peacocks are often running free in the alleys, within a hand's reach. There are many of Poland's native animals as well as some from around the world. There is also a kids section with domestic animals you can pet.

Not big, but very nice place. Exotic and polish fauna. Tigers, bears, ostriches, lemurs, meerkats, poison dart frogs, snakes, iguanas, turtles and a lot more. I recommended this place for visit with children.

If you`re looking for a huge ZOO full of exotic animals, this is definitely NOT a place for you. This ZOO enchants with its expositions of local fauna, exhibiting various central European species which are close to extinct. Also wounded animals, mainly birds, find sanctuary here. The "local farm" part is very attractive mainly for kids. You can spend several hours strolling around and enjoying peace of nature.
In the small indoor exhibition, not only you can "walk on water" - having fish swimming literally under your feet, but apart from all terrariums with various exotic species, you can also enter a room with big exotic butterflies.

Surprisingly nice, clean, cheap with a lot of animals. Paradise for children!
