Castle ruins with a nice vantage point of the surrounding countryside

Nice remains of medieval castle. Well preserved and reconstructed. Worth visiting

For three years I've kept passing and looking up. Today I walked up to take a look and feel the past.

Great little place to have a walk around. There's the park just underneath with the river running by it. Very nice and quaint and calm. These ruins have been quite well looked after and are lit up at night so show them off. Recently installed a new ramp and staircase to get up there. Also they've made some sort of show or ampitheratre nearby which is used in the summer for shows. Nice information about the place in English and Polish. Nice to read the history about it. There's always the odd bottle or piece of litter or something there but that's the locals getting drunk up there, if you ignore that it has great views and a pleasant place to visit.

Free entry and good access. Nice view to the city and the river Bzura. Information plates in polish about Sochaczew during first and second world war. Nice place to pop in and see when passing by.

I always love going here. I only wish they could fully restore the entire thing. That would be amazing.

Miejsce związane z historią mazowsza jest zadbane. Jest to malownicze miejsce wkomponowane w piękny park miejski i planty z drugiej strony poniżej wzgórza zamkowego. Planty są monitorowane. Leżą pomiędzy Bzurą z pomnikiem czynu zbrojnego we wrześniu 1939 r a wzniesieniem z ruinami zamku. Park miejski zadbany i bezpieczny. Amatorzy trunków bywają ale są spokojni.

Руины замка герцогов Мазовии 13 столетия. Каждые 100 лет этот замок разрушали, и отстраивали, и снова разрушали. В итоге остались руины на холме. Ничего особенного,  но приятно посмотреть с высоты на часть города, в даль дальнюю.

Jest klimat. Szczególnie wieczorową porą. Człowiek zaczyna się zastanawiać jak zamek wyglądał w czasie swojej świetności.

Руины замка герцогов Мазовии представляет собой интерес не столько для любителей истории, сколько для почитателей красивых видов с вершины холма, на котором и расположены руины, представляющие собой остатки кирпичной кладки.
На вершину можно подняться по удобной лестнице, есть подъем для велосипедистов.
Смотровая площадка открывает обзор на город Сохачев и реку Бзуру с высоты птичьего полёта, здесь можно сделать отличные пейзажные фотографии и портреты с красивым фоном.
У подножия холма расположена городская концертная площадка и если там проходят мероприятия, то одновременно получится послушать музыку или песни.
Если вы путешествуете на автомобиле, то в выходные дни парковки города бесплатные.
Спустившись с высоты холма можно прогуляться по набережной реки, а на оборудованном городском пляже посетить кафе, перекусить и отдохнуть.
Отсюда, не возвращаясь обратным путём, можно подняться вверх по грунтовой дороге и выйти на городские улицы.
